We’ve seen our productivity decrease and our tax increases. The average person on the UK, on £50,000 is less well off than your average Mississippi swamp dweller.

Commercial rent control is a terrible idea. Businesses are not human beings and they do not have a right to housing. If your business cannot afford rent, you should close up shop and go work for someone who is better at capitalism.
