Reports coming out of Lawrence Kansas say that Bill Self is likely to retire today, which may thin out the coaching herd. When you have two blue blood programs, which one would be more attractive to a head coach? A program that just fired their coach after 5 years and had a winning record this year, or a program whose coach retired for health reasons? Tough call. They would both be great jobs.
