Wrote a long post on the @apollographql asking about the best APIs to use for creating a ApolloServer Framework implementation for RSocket, because `runHttpQuery` works but feels "bad", and the Spam filter removed my post 🙃. Wish I had saved the post contents somewhere first.

@patjakubik @apollographql @__rares I politely disagree with the Apollo Client community being pretty dead - it's extremely active, with thousands of participants (including many folks at Apollo). Are you referring to community.apollographql.com? We're definitely active there.

@n1rual @daemonsy @notrab @bojake_ @apollographql Our OSS teams are small which means we have to focus on the things we think will be the most beneficial to developers, but we're working hard on wrangling issues/PRs while also building new things. There is a lot to do / fun to be had; we definitely welcome community help!

@daemonsy @notrab @bojake_ urql has the features set (that I use) but is much smaller. The API is almost identical. I don't want to manage my local state with my graphql client
@apollographql has a lot of unresolved issues and unreviewed PRs - it seems like few resources are allocated to open source

@capajj @apollographql We definitely appreciate the PR, but we haven't merged it yet due to other work that is inflight (like re-writing the React layer this modifies). This is on our minds though, and we will have a solution in place shortly.

The fact that such a tiny and important pull request as this github.com/apollographql/…
lays dormant for 3 months is not great @apollographql.
It's 44 lines! All it takes is just a single merge button click.
