Elon Musk is calling for the release of police bodycam footage in the case of 18-year-old Henry Nowak, who was murdered by Vickrum Digwa. Digwa stabbed Nowak five times with a 21 cm (8-inch) kirpan, a ceremonial blade carried as part of his Sikh faith. When police arrived at the scene, Digwa lied to them, claiming he was the victim and that Henry had “racially abused” him. This led officers to initially handcuff Henry while he was bleeding heavily.

@BerylWallxx Well, I would choose to stand with Henry's family who supported the release of the footage which has now happened. This is not about gawping, it is about exposing police attitudes and training to the world and supporting the cry for justice for Henry.

I agree. It was horrific. But I don’t stand with those who call for police cam material to be released. Nowak’s murder should not be turned into a circus for all to gawp at. At least give him that dignity.
