AI is changing higher education fast—but it can’t replace what great teachers actually do. This is a really thoughtful take on where things are headed. forbes.com/sites/jamiemer…

Bought a car. Opened the app. Got hit with 10,000 words of legal terms. Buried inside: - Your car may track you - You waive key legal rights - They can change the deal anytime We don’t just buy cars anymore—we enter data contracts. tcom610.blogspot.com/2026/03/you-bo…

This is honestly a little scary. Researchers say large swarms of AI bots can now talk to people online in realistic ways and make it seem like “everyone” agrees with something — even when it isn’t true. Worth a read. theconversation.com/swarms-of-ai-b…

When traditional protests feel 'politically invisible,' where do citizens turn for leverage? When it comes to ICE, Scott Galloway argues for targeting the subscription-driven tech giants. tcom610.blogspot.com/2026/02/the-ic…

@ATTHelp @ATT The tape would confirm my version. But @ATTHelp first said a) They can't listen to the recording for "security" reasons; and then b) They can't listen to the recording because another ATT division has it. That's not good service.

@ATTHelp I've tried connecting, and urged @ATTHelp to listen to the recording of the oily @ATT rep who hustled us on a phone deal when we were trying to order internet service.

@ATT I can't believe the horrendous service I've received when ordering new fiber for my house and a phone upgrade at the same time. God, was that a mistake. Your guy got the wrong address, failed to schedule the installation appointment and then sent me the wrong phone.

Greeted by nearly a foot of snow, snarled roads and subzero windchills this week. I appreciate these people coming in to keep us informed.

My neighbors always seem to step up. On a 2-degree day following a record snowstorm, my buddy Ben was out with his snowblower doing the sidewalks. Other folks were helping shovel out their neighbors and checking on the seniors.

@xipteras Thank you! Is this a photo of the Perseus Cluster, or is that one of the points of light within the image. If so, could you please circle it?

✨ The Perseus Cluster (Abell 426) is a massive collection of hundreds of #galaxies, all bound together by gravity. It is one of the closest major galaxy clusters to the Milky Way, containing numerous galaxies of various types, sizes, see my image below. The space between the galaxies is filled with hot, X-ray emitting gas. 🏋️‍♀️ Perseus A (NGC 1275) is the most massive galaxy within this cluster. As a luminous, active galaxy, Perseus A exhibits a bright, variable central region. This luminosity is due to the accretion of matter by a supermassive black hole at the galaxy's core. As material is sucked in, it emits intense radiation across a wide spectrum, from strong radio waves to X-rays, making it a radio galaxy. 🔭#Astrophotography enthusiasts need a sensitive astronomy camera on a clear, dark night to reveal the faint galaxies of the cluster. The attached image is from my location in Germany, using my CCD camera on my 5" refractor. 🌏 Around the time when the light we now see from the Perseus cluster left its source, around 240 million years ago, the Earth was in the Middle Triassic period, when the dinosaurs were just beginning to appear. All landmasses were combined into one supercontinent known as Pangaea, surrounded by a global ocean called Panthalassa. This was a time of great geological activity, with the movement of tectonic plates. 🦕 The #Triassic period followed the largest mass extinction in Earth's history at the end of the Permian period, which wiped out most species. That Middle Triassic was a time of recovery for life on Earth. 🦖 The first mammals emerged, dinosaurs, and early sharks appeared. ☀️Climate was generally hot and dry, with no polar ice caps, and much of Pangaea was like a desert. When we observe the Hercules cluster, 🛸👀 we're looking at a snapshot of how galaxies evolve and interact over billions of years. ✨🔭🙂 For us night sky lovers, this cluster is a reminder that even in the vast emptiness of space, there are regions of activity where galaxies live out their complex lives, sometimes peacefully, sometimes in dramatic collisions, revealing the incredible diversity and energy of the universe. 🎶🎧 Now enjoy my new playlist Cruising by Dance, 💃🕺 on #SoundCloud on.soundcloud.com/8r13qRUx7gxz4N… Clear skies and enjoy the night #stars. 🌌
