Excited to be judging the Shape Rotator hackathon with @initc3org. What stands out to me about this event is the emphasis on turning strong research into real prototypes and proofs of concept. Some of the most important ideas in crypto start as deep technical work, but the real test is whether they can become products, platforms and new categories that matter in the world. I’m especially looking forward to seeing teams that combine research depth with clear product thinking, strong execution, and a sharp view on market opportunity. From research to real-world impact is where a lot of the magic happens.

The Cycles Whitepaper has been selected by @initc3org for the Shape Rotator Virtual Hackathon. Cycles proposes a new conceptual model for reasoning about finance and settlement as a graph of commitments to past and future liabilities. *Every settlement is a cycle*. Developers and founders are invited to build working prototypes directly on top of the research, spanning graph theory, account abstraction, TEEs, cryptographic primitives, and DeFi security. Excited to see what the community builds on top of our work. Winning teams will have the opportunity to progress to the Shape Rotator Accelerator, where up to $50k in funding is available for graduating teams.
