No need to get pissy when I’m telling you what we see and think. Carney is annoying and takes actions that hurt Canadians more than Americans. It’s like watching a neighbor threaten to pee on your lawn. Sure it’s a “threat” but if he opens Canada to China then you increase Chinese surveillance of Canadians and by proximity a little more on the US. But China owns huge swaths of American land close to military bases. That is a much bigger and ever present threat to the US than Chinese products a country away. The reality is Canada isn’t large or powerful enough to be a “real threat” to the US and is becoming smaller and less powerful as time goes on. Seriously think about the vulnerabilities on the world stage and how would you rank Canada among them compared with the others? What seems like a bigger threat: Canada or Mexican cartels?

Donald Trump may have done more to secure a Liberal majority than anyone in Canada.
His constant comments don’t just stay in the U.S. They influence voters here too.

Because if he had kept his mouth shut about Canada being the “51st state,” there’s a real chance Pierre Poilievre would have a majority right now.

Two things I learned coming to DC as often as I have this past few months.
1. It has some absolutely amazing rooftop bars and restaurants.
2. Googling “rooftops in DC” will get you on some lists you don’t want to be on.
