@BertrandCaron @CHLThor @videolan Everything identifies as MP3 😄 There is a fairly lax signature that just matches the MP3 frame header, which is a relatively short byte sequence repeating at varying offsets, which is not entirely unexpected in a number of other formats (without meaning MP3 frame header)

@euanc @anjacks0n @SharonMcMeekin Yeah, it's the transformation of content from one file format to another, the aim being to decode the original data and re-encode it using a different mechanism such that a different software stack can surface the same information. And yeah, would like to help, time permitting
