@JenniferJS_ @Keir_Starmer Dear o dear.
Do you think he wrote it himself ?
English

Brilliant speech from @Keir_Starmer which, I have no doubt, will be twisted every which way by clickbait frenzy reporters. But it doesn't matter. Starmer has done his homework and his report to Parliament is factual.
I'm so proud of him! #TenYearKeir
English

@deanbegley1 @GMB It was a hundred times more that that with Boris and Cummings, but you never complained then.
So if you can’t stand the heat ………
English

Yeah, sure, this is going to be a challenging week for Keir Starmer, but undoubtedly he will prevail.
He is made of sterner stuff is our Keir, and fundamentally honest with it.
#StarmerSternerStuff

English

@flintoff11 @GeoffreyBoycott Hey Freddy, you do know he's an orc and comes from the wrong side of the Pennines. Wrong coloured rose.
English

@jnigelscott @kellro36 she called for the RAF to join the bombing raids and commit to offensive action Iranian missile sites
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 Just not true old boy. Yet again you have been conveniently gaslighted.

English

@myhiddenvalue Starmer wanted them to be our ambassador in the USA.
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 Badenoch said two things.
1, We should allow the US to use our bases (which we are now doing).
2, If there is conflict between the USA and Iran we should always be on the USA side.
You see I do pay attention, and look at the facts, and not labours gaslighting like some.
English

@jnigelscott @kellro36 erm, he didn’t join in the war at the level trump requested.
how the hell did you miss the criticism from Babenoch and Farage on this.
maybe pay attention to current affairs if you want to engage on these subjects
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 Trump did not ask the UK to join the war. In fact he explicitly said the USA does not need UK help.
He did ask to use two of our airbases, which Starmer first refused, and 36 hours later changed his mind.
He now has access to all our bases (inc UK) where he can load his bombs.
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 Last chance, you said he has kept us out of the war.
How, and what has he actually done?
Seriously, what ?
English

@jnigelscott @kellro36 1: disagree. saving the country from worse should be everyone’s priority
2: all three boomer slop parties would reverse what labour has done
3: all three boomer slop parties would have involved us more in the iran war and said so themselves, criticising starmer for not
English

@paulmasonnews Simple question.
As Mr Starmer didn't go to the house 'at the earliest opportunity' to say he had inadvertently misled Parliament, as the rules (he likes rules and process) demand, do you think he would have if the Guardian hadn't published the story ?

English

@paulmasonnews Why is this fucking liar lying to me?
In the hope of a Labour nomination?
English

@KBGreyhoundlady @paulmasonnews @MittensOff Give it a rest.
All the journalists now questioning Starmer, are the same ones who gave Boris such a bad time.
You never complained then, did you?
English

@paulmasonnews @MittensOff Johnson packed the BBC with Tory shills. There needs to be an investigation into what’s supposed to be our national broadcaster. I’m sick of this witch hunt. Where were they when Johnson & his cabal were running their genuinely corrupt so called government?
English

@paulmasonnews We had a very able, and well respected, ambassador in place. Starmer decided to move her on, and make a political appointment. Very rarely does this occur. Therefore more reason to get it right.
He was that determined to appoint him he did so before the vetting was completed.
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 1, Not a good enough reason to keep him in post.
2, Business As Usual i.e. Things you would expect to happen as day to day governance.
3, Apart from what I said what has he done, that no other leader has, to keep us out of the war.
That is your claim, not mine.
English

@jnigelscott @kellro36 1: about what? and also that wasn’t my point. the alternatives are worse was my point
2: i don’t know what BAU is. is it a mechanism for getting around carnets?
3: the 3 boomer slop parties wanted full involvement so you can drop the ‘bases’ thing
English

The hatred directed at Starmer is toxic and the attacks on him often wildly exaggerated. He has done some good stuff as Prime Minister. But he isn’t a story-teller and I’m still not convinced he has a story. I’ve been critical of him many times. He has made some important mistakes - one of which was appointing Mandelson, which (unlike some notable others, including Nigel Farage) I didn’t endorse at the time. Huge couple of days ahead now for Starmer - he doesn’t have a lot of support in the media!
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 1, He is a proven liar - fact.
2, Without sounding churlish, this is just BAU stuff.
3, I ask again. What has he done, to back our claim, apart from the 36 hour delay in the USA using our bases?
English

@jnigelscott @kellro36 1: don’t think he’s a liar or corrupt. + a worse pm makes things worse for everyone including me.
2: yes he has. i work cross border and it’s already better through small micro deals
3: the frothing boomer slop parties wanted us to be S by S with the US not just using bases
English

@IanJon407 @kellro36 For an intelligent man you talk some bollocks.
1, Not a reason to keep a corrupt liar in post.
2, Not yet he hasn't.
3, Please explain. He stopped the USA from using two of our bases, then changed his mind 36 hours later.
What else?
English

@kellro36 1: better than the obvious alternatives to the left or right
2: already made it much easier to work in the EU and get equipment over the border and back again.
3: kept us out of the iran war unlike what the three boomer slop parties would have done.
English
