@SusieM414141 No! Airlines typically assign seats to manage capacity and ensure that passengers adhere to safety regulations. By designating specific seats, they can keep track of where passengers are seated, maintain balance on the aircraft, and comply with various safety protocols.

This woman is on a Southwest Airlines flight that was obviously not full, so she decided to switch seats. Now they are telling her she has to go back to her assigned seat or get off the flight. If a flight is not full, should people be allowed to switch seats? It used to not be a problem, but maybe when there is an unfortunate crash it becomes harder to identify people.

@SenateGOP Let’s be clear: they aren’t trying to abolish ICE. This law has existed since the Clinton era, and nothing has really changed in that regard. The difference now lies in how they are handling arrests of undocumented individuals. That’s what they want to change. You know that!

Senate Republicans knew Democrats would try to abolish ICE.  That’s why we pre-funded ICE and Border Patrol last summer.  ICE will continue to arrest and deport criminal illegal aliens, whether Democrats like it or not.

Why didn’t the House vote on the Senate DHS bill? Because we read it. It defunds over 25% of DHS and undermines efforts to combat child exploitation and drug trafficking. Congress must FULLY FUND DHS to keep our borders secure and our homeland safe.
