There's no one else who can keep up with the pace of play, tell you everything that's going on, use first and last names of each player in nearly every call, and have perfect literal and metaphorical statements to go along with it. Anyone who has known me at any point since I was old enough to understand the significance of a play-by-play commentator knows that John Forslund is my favorite person in sports media. My favorite call of his is one that might not be so well known. Back on my old Android Phone in 2017, I actually had this for a text notification tone I loved it so much.
