Since Utah became a state in 1896, @RepBlakeMoore is the only Republican elected to a leadership position in the U.S. House of Representatives. His colleagues and @potus respect him. He does such a great job repping Northern Utah and looking out for Hill AFB. I’m all for Moore 🇺🇸

My LEAST Latter-day Saint opinion is that I don't think the Second Coming will be anytime soon. Certainly not in my lifetime.
And I think this because as a whole the world is becoming a much, much better place.

The message to GOP donors outside of Utah is simple:
The State of Utah can be saved for the long-term, right now, for a song.
A small but meaningful investment now to replace the Cox regime with Republicans would preserve the state for decades.
The alternative is Deidre and Utah becoming Colorado in a few cycles.
And when that happens, it will be lost for good.
We’ve got a hole in the roof. It’s time to patch it before we lose the house.

@DeseretStone The R party is a house divided. When @SpencerJCox is your enemy, you have much larger issues. Governor Cox embodies the traits we need in leadership. Puritanical authoritarianism shouldn’t be the path.

@jwarner7 @WilliamMeservy As a lifelong republican, the WMD era republicans lost our trust. We felt lied to about the war. They weren’t tough enough to hit back when Dems took cheap shots. They didn’t get it done.

Makes sense. We Latter-day Saints are very much Reagan-style conservatives, so our attachment to the Republican Party has understandably tempered at the same rate the Republican Party has slowly abandoned conservatism and replaced it with populism, which looks an awful lot like the kind of political phenomenon that drove us out of Ohio, out Missouri, and out of Illinois in our early history.

@TheMountainSon @Jensen_Utah My feelings…meaning the way I view the current state. I was stating how I feel, not a population at large. I was a strong R in the 90s and early 2000. I’ve been disappointed in the party since. The Tparty now MAGA control the R message
