Anyone who says chicken soft tacos are better than a bowl of Lucky Charms is not to be taken seriously. Anyone who says Claude Monet is better than Édouard Manet is not to be taken seriously. Anyone who says their favorite color is green and not blue is not to be taken seriously. See how stupid it sounds when you take a personal preference about something subjective and make generalizations about people who have a different opinion? I have an opinion about who should not be taken seriously.

@CollinRugg So they could have bought even more farmland and fed more people but decided “this square here” was more important? Their choice of course, but short sighted in my opinion.

NEW: Kentucky family rejects $26 million offer to convert part of their farm into a data center despite the offer being about 10 times the going rate for farmland in the area. "If it's my way, I'll stay and hold and feed a nation. 26 million doesn't mean anything." "As long as I'm on this land, as long as it's feeding me, as long as it's taking care of me, there's nothing that can destroy me if I've got this land." Video: Local 12 WKRC

@RetroTechChris They probably found out it was cheaper to not add the diagonal cut to the production run after the “let’s make it look cool” pcb design was already locked in.. or more generously maybe they originally had a use case for that weird off cut and whatever it was fell through.

This might just be the strangest sound card design I have ever seen! Guessing they were designing this to be an "angled" PCB, then changed their mind at the last minute 😂

The moment THE WIZARD OF OZ (1939) shifts to Technicolor was achieved entirely in-camera. The set was painted sepia, and Judy Garland’s stand-in wore sepia clothing to make the transition seamless.

The benefit of committing voter fraud is the ability to continue all those other frauds without consequences. The ability to make sure people who will fight the federal government to prevent deportation get elected. The ability to make sure the judges appointed by the people they vote for will continue catch and release. The ability to make sure the people elected will give benefits regardless of status. This single issue is the initiation point for all of these things.

There are concrete benefits to individuals from all of these types of fraud. There are no concrete benefits to individuals from voting fraudulently in an election, especially since their vote has essentially no chance of changing the outcome.

People can find soul in different things. Me? I love the instant response, 1020hp, perfect traction control, I love how it corners I love how ridiculously effortless it is to drive with one pedal and instantly react to changes in front of me without having the delay of moving my foot back and forth from one pedal to another (seems like a small thing but it’s really nice).. I love waking up every morning with a full “tank” for about $10 from empty to full. I love how the suspension raises when I approach my home and my wonky ass gravel driveway… I totally understand that Evs aren’t for everyone, and that’s fine.. I don’t mind what any grown ass adult decides they want for a daily driver, good on them (sincerely)… but this “evs have no soul” argument makes the least sense of all the arguments because just as we all enjoy and find “soul” in different music or arts or even food, we are all just as capable of finding it in our daily driver regardless of the method of propulsion. Not trying to be negative or contradictory or anything…the car you shared is beautiful and I’m sure an absolute pleasure to drive… just sharing my perspective, drive what you love and love what you drive.

The difference between a camera and a car; one is a tool to accomplish a task and produce an outcome (a photo), whereas the other often serves as a figurative extension of one’s very soul. Yes an EV can take a person to their destination, just as a steak can be cooked in a microwave.

This has happened before. There’s a reason the EV transition feels familiar. Because we’ve seen this exact story play out before. 📸 Photography Back in the day, Kodak dominated the entire industry. They didn’t just lead it, they owned it. And here’s the crazy part… They actually invented the first digital camera in 1975. They saw the future coming. They had the patents. They had the technology. They had the head start. And what did they do? They hesitated. They believed digital wouldn’t replace film. They protected their existing business. They underestimated how quickly things would change. We all know how that ended. Film didn’t slowly decline. It collapsed. Now look at the car industry For years, the narrative has been: “EVs won’t take over.” “The infrastructure isn’t ready.” “They’re not practical.” “They’ll never replace petrol and diesel.” Sound familiar? Because it’s the exact same arguments used against digital photography. But here’s what matters This isn’t about opinions. It’s about behaviour. 👉 Over 90% of EV drivers stick with electric once they switch. 👉 Satisfaction rates are among the highest in the automotive world. 👉 Running costs are lower. 👉 Ownership is simpler for most. The shift isn’t being forced. It’s being chosen. Kodak didn’t fail because the technology didn’t exist. They failed because they didn’t believe it would win. The same mistake is being made again right now. It isn’t a question of if… It’s a question of when. And just like film cameras… One day people will look back and wonder why there was ever a debate at all.

You are absolutely correct… because making an airplane out of solid steel reinforced concrete would vastly reduce the space available for passengers, luggage, fuel, avionics, etc… also hitting the ground will be “slightly”uncomfortable for the passengers regardless of whether the plan holds together or not. But please, don’t just complain about a problem, provide a workable solution.

Not true at all. I’ve done several repairs/mods to my Teslas and it’s all been easy, well documented with photos (by Tesla). Just going to be a little blunt here but if removing dash panels is a problem, you’re not really the right person to be making this comment. It’s like any other car when it comes to swapping parts (but again, better documented).

The difference between Republicans, Democrats, and MAGA based on reactions to @ogafroman Republicans: If Afroman didn’t flaunt his drug use they wouldn’t have raided his house. Back the blue no matter who. Democrats: F*ck the police. They’re all dirty and if you support them you’re a boot licker fascist. MAGA: Screw criminals no matter who they are, but especially screw taxpayer funded criminals. FAFO 🤣😂.

It relates to the terms of service for both artists and end users on the streaming platforms. They all explicitly prohibit automating (botting) streams when you agree to them. Loopholes definitely exist to be exploited, the problem is this wasn’t a loophole it was against terms of use

According to the French newspaper Le Monde, the near-exact location of the French aircraft carrier FS Charles de Gaulle (R91) was publicly exposed on March 13, when a naval officer utilized the online physical exercise tracker Strava to log his run on the deck of the carrier while it sailed through the Eastern Mediterranean to the west of Cyprus.
