@SteveBarclay The medical profession can either strike (fight) or leave the NHS (flight). When doctors leave, the vacancy rate gets bigger and the service gets less efficient. People wait longer for treatment. Please sort pay to retain Drs + sort out the resources so that we can do our jobs.

@SteveBarclay The biggest threat to our NHS is not the striking staff. It is those who are introducing private health care by running down public services. The NHS is not yours to sell off.

@SteveBarclay I stand with Doctors! The long list of appointments was already extortionate. These appointments waits don’t even affect you.The doctors will come back to an even longer list of people to see so their own strikes will also affect their workload which just shows you the importance

People will have seen today’s NHS pay vote results from UNISON (74% accept) and RCN (54% reject). These are important of course BUT this offer covers 14 unions and the other 12 are still voting and will mostly be doing so until late April

@CSullivanCSP @thecsp Trusts are definitely under banding staff. Including our Physio Assistants who in their own right have excellent knowledge and skills sets allowing them at times to work independently, taking on their own responsibility. Separate pay for nursing just isn’t the way forward at all
