@AnseSpeaks @leahtrell @MateyYanakiev Never said the scriptures never were in Hebrew ever. I said the Bible we now have in Hebrew was recreated over a long period of time and is much much much newer than the Greek version. There is no Hebrew source. The Hebrew Bible is a thousand years old. All scholars know this

“The Masoretic Text (MT) is intentionally corrupted by Christ-haters!!” Septuagint (LXX): “They will look to Me, because they danced triumphantly…” (Zech 12:10) Masoretic Text (MT): “When they look on Me, Him whom they have pierced…” (Zech 12:10)
Matey@MateyYanakiev

Chrysostom with an absolutely devastating blow for Septuagint supremacists: The OT is more difficult for Greek Christians than the NT because the OT is originally written in Hebrew, and clarity was necessarily lost when translated into Greek. (Homily 2 on the OT’s Obscurity)

@leahtrell @Romans8Shaman @MateyYanakiev It is more accurate to say that generally the DSS proves that LXX is older and actually a faithful translation of the old Hebrew text that both the MT and LXX is based on.

@7SleepersAwake @Romans8Shaman @MateyYanakiev You said it was not in Hebrew until the year 1000. That is absolutely false. There are fragments of every book except Esther. Which proves that basically the entire OT was in fact already in Hebrew.

Wrong. It’s a way for you to satisfy your flesh while lying and acting like you’re godly when you are no different than any other womanizer. Actually you are evil and ruled by your fleshly desires. Paul said if possible it is beneficial to remain single so you can devote all your time to the Lord. You on the other hand not only are not satisfied with one wife, but are so obsessed with your fleshly desires that you crave many women. You need to submit to God and stop worrying about dividing your time between multiple women. Maybe focus on evangelizing the non believer and furthering the kingdom and be less focused on how many women you can put into your harem.

Oh wow. Just like YHWH. “Thus says the Lord of hosts, Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another, do not oppress the widow, the fatherless, the sojourner, or the poor, and let none of you devise evil against another in your heart.” Zechariah 7:9–10 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8 For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and acknowledgment of God rather than burnt offerings.  Hosea 6:6 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22–23 Do I actually delight in the death of the wicked, declares the sovereign Lord? Do I not prefer that he turn from his wicked conduct and live?Ezekiel 18:23 For I take no delight in the death of anyone, declares the sovereign Lord. Repent and live! Ezekiel 18:32 You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord. Leviticus 19:18 If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat, and if he is thirsty, give him water to drink, Proverbs 25:21 All day long he craves and craves, but the righteous gives and does not hold back.  Proverbs 21:26 “Is not this the fast that I choose: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the straps of the yoke, to let the oppressed go free, and to break every yoke? Is it not to share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house; when you see the naked, to cover him, and not to hide yourself from your own flesh?  Isaiah 58:6–7 I could keep going, but I won’t. Have you not read the book of Jonah? How YHWH is kind to Israel’s enemies and wants to save them? Have you actually studied the OT at all? It really doesn’t seem like it.

@NoahP11108963 @leahtrell @IsraelAnderson Tune in. Jesus describes His Father: But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, because he is kind to ungrateful and evil people. Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful.

Attention blasphemers! Your cult leader, Israel Anderson @IsraelAnderson can’t seem to keep his story straight. On October 27, 2024, Anderson uploaded a video (“The Good Father Discourse Pt2 - A New Discovery in the Bible”) claiming that in 2023 Jesus spoke to him. He says he was making food or about to make food and he was thinking about Luke 11:11. He claims he was thinking he “really needed to go look at that whole thing and see if there’s anything else around there.” So he’s “thinking and making food or about to make food” when Jesus stopped him and said, “No, now. Go look at it right now.”

Candace Owens now says there were MULTIPLE "Tyler Robinson's" used to mislead the public on who ACTUALLY killed Charlie. She built a whole narrative around his assassination, and now that more evidence is coming out in court, she’s not correcting herself, she’s inventing new conspiracies to avoid admitting she was wrong. At what point does “just asking questions” become knowingly misleading people? This is actually evil.

@Romans8Shaman @MateyYanakiev I disagree. The dead sea scrolls mostly agree with the LXX. But they can provide corrections to specific passages like this one. So the LXX with dead sea scrolls corrections is the better path.

When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Colossians 3:4–8

No, he didn’t. I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me. If someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe, if you accept praise from one another and don’t seek the praise that comes from the only God? (John 5:43–44, NET) “Father, glorify your name.” Then a voice came from heaven, “I have glorified it, and I will glorify it again.”  (John 12:28, NET) What is your gods name?

The devil is the divine rebel. If you did not have second temple Jewish literature or the Bible you would have no concept of the devil or Satan or anything like that. It is where it came from. YHWH is not Satan. He is opposed to Satan in all of the literature. For you to suggest otherwise is quite ridiculous. He is identified as Helel ben Shakhar, Belial, Beelzebul, Beliar. He is never identified as YHWH. That is the opposite of the truth. Your statement about the Roman Centurion is false. Jesus didn’t say he was the only one who understood who He was. He said he had the greatest faith. Jesus did NOT say that the father of the people celebrating Passover was the devil. He said the father of the people trying to kill him was the devil. Big difference. Jesus never calls YHWH the devil. MANY believed in him. The NT is showing you that Jesus is YHWH. Just like Jude was showing that. But you are following people like the false teachers in Jude. You should really reconsider this.

@leahtrell @NoahP11108963 @IsraelAnderson Who is the devil? 66+ books and the devil can't be personified. Yet Jesus, who can't find anyone in Israel, beside a Roman Centurion, that understands who He is, says out loud, in the Temple, in YHWH's presence, that the father of those celebrating the Passover is the devil.

Is this all you talk about? All you care about is being an apologist for having multiple sexual partners? Good grief. Every time I see you, you are harping about your “polygyny.” Grow up. Go do what you want. But stop asking everyone else to accept it. Stop throwing it in people’s faces. Stop putting your personal life on the internet and acting like we all need to affirm your inability to not be faithful to one wife.

First of all, you can’t just pull Jude 9 out of it’s context. We need to understand what Jude is doing. He is warning the people against false teachers who have come in and are denying the lordship of Jesus and denying His deity. They are encouraging the people to partake in sin. He is going to use analogy to compare these false teachers with the angels who sinned and left there first estate in verse 6. He’s telling you that Jesus/YHWH has kept in chains the Watchers from Gen 6:1-4 and 1 Enoch who went after strange flesh and had sexual relations with human women. But if we look at Enoch and the story of the Apkallu we can see that these angels didn’t just mate with human women. They taught humanity about warfare and witchcraft and divination. Gen 6:5 But the Lord saw that the wickedness of humankind had become great on the earth. Every inclination of the thoughts of their minds was only evil all the time. They were false teachers teaching humanity to do abominations, just like these human false teachers Jude is warning about. Then in verse 7 he brings up the men of Sodom who were trying to have sex with the angels who were rescuing Lot. Verse 8, we are back to the false teachers. Like the Watchers and the men of Sodom these false teachers are defiling the flesh, rejecting God’s authority and insulting the heavenly host. Verse 9 is Jude showing the proper hierarchy of things. Michael doesn’t rebuke the devil, he asks for the Lord to rebuke the devil. He is appealing to the Lord’s authority, not his own. The Lord is the judge, not Michael. This ties back to the false teachers who are not submitting to the lordship of Jesus. Furthermore, Jude is referencing a second temple writing called the Assumption/Testament of Moses. In the Testament of Moses Joshua is concerned about where Moses’ body is ending up. This has to do with cosmic geography. Moses is dying outside of the promised land. He is not going to be in the Lord’s land, he is in the enemies territory in the Trans-Jordan. I know you don’t care about any of what I just said, but context is important. Since you think YHWH is Satan you think YHWH and Michael are arguing over Moses body. That makes zero sense. Michael is the prince/angel/official (whatever translation you want to take) of Israel (Dan 10:21). YHWH is the God of Israel. Michael works for YHWH. If Michael is asking for the LORD to rebuke someone then he is referring to YHWH rebuking that being. YHWH is not Satan. YHWH sends Gabriel to Daniel. He interprets YHWH’s prophecy for Daniel. Gabriel is the one who tells Daniel about Michael. And how Michael is helping him fight the princes of Persia and Greece. If YHWH knows where Moses’ body is and Michael works for YHWH as Israel’s prince then why are they arguing? They wouldn’t be. The book that Jude is quoting, The Assumption of Moses/Testimony of Moses was written by Jews in the second temple period. These Jews did not think YHWH was Satan. When they wrote this work “the Lord” in the book was YHWH and the devil was not YHWH. No one back then thought that. Jude is not quoting a book that taught YHWH is Satan. He is quoting a book that taught that YHWH is Lord. There is no world in which Jude is telling you YHWH was arguing with Michael over Moses body. It’s just not possible. You are ignoring the fact that Jude is quoting a second temple JEWISH text. Michael Heiser does a deep dive into Jude. You should listen to it. It is the Naked Bible Podcast episodes 432-439. It might help you.

@leahtrell @NoahP11108963 @IsraelAnderson So let's hear your twist on Jude verse 9 What is this respect for the devil? Why mustn't I slander the devil? Why mustn't Michael the Archangel dare slander the devil himself? In OT Scripture, who was the last to know where the body of Moses was?

It is not in question. For certain men have secretly slipped in among you—men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe—ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.  (Jude 4, NET) Jude says Jesus is our ONLY Lord. So even if Lord is the correct variant in verse 5 then it is still talking about Jesus our ONLY LORD. If He is Lord in verse 4 then He is Lord in verse 5. You need to understand that the NT teaches Jesus is YHWH. If you can’t accept that then you are worshiping a false Jesus. Now Enoch, the seventh in descent beginning with Adam, even prophesied of them, saying, “Look! The Lord is coming with thousands and thousands of his holy ones, to execute judgment on all, and to convict every person of all their thoroughly ungodly deeds that they have committed, and of all the harsh words that ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” (Jude 14–15, NET) That is about Jesus and it is calling Him Lord. Read the whole of Jude. Every use of Lord is referring to Jesus because Jesus is Lord because Jesus is YHWH. It’s right there in front of you.

@leahtrell @NoahP11108963 @IsraelAnderson The point is that the precise identity of who Jude said took "them" and then destroyed them is in question. I contend that Jesus doesn't kill people, He gives life. But He talks about someone that came before Him that steals, kills, and destroys. He wasn't talking about Himself.

@ak_cheese @NoahP11108963 @IsraelAnderson That is the TOTAL opposite of what the NET notes say. It says scribes were uncomfortable with “Jesus” and changed it to “Lord” or “God.” It also says the earliest and best manuscripts say Jesus. I have broken this down already in the below post. x.com/leahtrell/stat…

Israel Anderson claims that the original reading of Jude 5 was κύριος (“the Lord”), and that “some ‘Yhwh is Jesus’ people in the 3rd and 4th centuries changed kyrios to iesous.” Let’s break down and fact check his various claims in this post.
