Possible plane crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan. #ahy8243, an Azerbaijan Airlines Embraer 190 declared an emergency on route over the Caspian Sea. It displayed erratic speed and altitude data and appears to have crashed near the shore while attempting to land at SCO. Horrible 🙏🙏🙏

The times @kellyghering and I had at @planet and @Astra were pretty surreal. Building 3 Doves in 9 days from spare parts (after 28 were detonated over the Virginia coast), spinning flight hardware over a weekend for Astra & the infamous rocket rave. Looking forward to this book!

Say I have a brushless motor...but it needs 600-900V to drive it 😇 Is there anything off the shelf that could do that? Or would I have to finally learn some circuit design. Just three phase sinusoidal at low frequency. I stumbled on a _very_ cool paper I'd love to try 🤩

Certifying new carbon removal pathways is a big unsolved problem. The existing certification bodies lost trust by certifying poor quality avoidance offsets for decades. We're taking a new path @CharmIndustrial, focused on scientific & ecosystem review, and delivery transparency.

The winters at the South Pole are truly incredible. Inside the station it's equal measure routine and surreal. Outside those freezer doors though, the sky puts on a spectacular show for anyone willing to gear up to see it.
