I think I finally worked out a good expression for the viscous friction force on flowing water. It's very important for this erosion stuff, after all you can't have accurate erosion based on water velocity without accurate velocity.

@Kepler_L2 Few things are more constant than Intel and Nvidia buyers absolutely refusing to try any other platform, while still complaining by far the loudest about pricing, as if those things have nothing to do with each other

Looking at Twitter/Youtube/Reddit comments I think this generation has the most negativity towards a new NVIDIA launch ever. Wonder if this will have any real world effect or everyone will just sigh and buy the cards anyway.

Actually just invented a (new?) order-independent transparency technique, seems to work well. Will need to trawl through the literature to see if it's actually new. Quite simple and elegant though.
