Coding with AI is great, yes - but the real killer feature is that it eliminates the "ramp up" period when switching projects. Asking "Describe the deployment process for this application" is totally valid, as is "How do I deploy this branch to staging?" I was going through my Claude Code conversation history for this week so far, and I asked similar questions ~40x so far. I know how to find the answers myself, but I'd estimate that this alone has saved me >10 hours this week... and it's only Wednesday mid-day. #claudecode #programming #ai #codegen

@Jvhnaik @bryan_johnson Speaking for myself: sleep. Nothing else comes close. It has such a huge impact on your health, both mental and physical. The mental aspect is insidious -- one of the impacts is that it clouds your judgement, so you don't realize how much it matters when you don't get enough.

This is the first time I’ve seen someone break down the psychology behind why peptides feel so appealing. The closed vs open loop framing makes so much sense .. most people (myself included) are just going off how they feel with no real way to measure if it’s actually working. What would you say is the most accessible first biomarker someone should start tracking if they’re just getting into this?

I think peptides are popular because they give people a feeling of power and control. One feels helpless when they can't sleep, stop scrolling, eat well or exercise consistently. A few injections wrestles back a feeling of control. Evidence shows that injections amplify perceived agency (the ritual potency of administration). This creates a dangerous situation where powerful compounds are being used less for biomarker improvement and more for psychological wellbeing. This is what you want: closed loop. > intervention (peptide) > biological change > measured biomarker > adjustment How most people are using peptides: open-loop. > intervention (peptide) > subjective feeling > more intervention The open-loop compounds over time. Without biomarker feedback, dose escalation is driven by subjective feelings which creates increased risk of doses with no clinical precedent. I am pro peptide and pro experimentation. Some peptides such as GLP-1s and similar are among the most effective in the world. Peptides (without clinical data) are among the most promising therapies available. They also need more clinical work so that we can characterize their effects, both good and bad. Nothing is free in biology.

@IPSecOSINT @sentdefender If you’re unaware, Iran is already hitting tankers at anchor in Iraqi territorial waters, and attacking Oman.

@sentdefender Is this news or OSINT? Because 10 mins of search and we can see Iran only has control 12 nautical miles from land. Shipping lanes are outside of that. They have no ability to “mull” anything. They don’t control the main shipping lanes. CNN is low tier for OSINT signal.

According to CNN, citing a senior Iranian official, Iran is now mulling the possibility of letting tankers through the Strait of Hormuz only if the oil on board is traded in Chinese yuan. The majority of international oil trades are done in U.S. dollars.

I get prompts like this a lot in #ClaudeCode. Is there a way I don't know about to tell it to use an alternate method of building commits, so I don't have to manually approve command substitution every time?

Anyone out there using Claude Code to work on projects with complex stacks that run in Docker Compose, and also using the CC Cloud environments and/or "remote control"? There are several things I've not been able to figure out, and am mostly looking for confirmation that it's possible before I spend time trying to make it work how I want :). #ClaudeCode

@bb999999999 @Osinttechnical @grok If you're worried about the Starlink terminal itself, those antennas are extremely difficult and expensive to produce on their own. Plus, they could just... buy one. The rest of the drone is based on Iran's own design, so I don't see an issue here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@rellfy @bryan_johnson But it is a thermodynamic constraint. There’s only so much computing substrate available, after all. We’re increasing that very quickly, but that can only go so far.

Today, we are launching Immortals. + $1,000,000 per year + Three spots available Immortals is the world’s best health program. It is the exact protocol I have followed for the last 5 years. It is your Autonomous Health. Includes a dedicated concierge team, BryanAI 24/7, extensive testing, millions of biological data points, continuous tracking, best skin and hair protocols, and access to the best therapies on market. Immortals begins with those who have the resources and commitment. The long-term goal is universal access: the same standard of care, regardless of income or willpower. As these systems mature and scale, cost declines. Over the coming months: + $1,000,000 fully managed (now) + $60,000 supported tier + Free digital tier Across all, the core philosophy remains the same: measurement, scientific research, intervention, repeat. $1m/yr prerequisites: + pass interview process + a dedicated assistant + invest time Join below.

I wonder, with Moltbook, if we don’t already have our first cases of “zombie agents” - agentic AI systems continuing to operate and execute the will of someone who is no longer alive.

@tradewithola @BillAckman Honestly? Not that I support the idea, but yeah, it would benefit the average American. Not today, but in 20 years as the Arctic becomes more navigable, Greenland has the potential to become as large or larger as a port as the West Coast.

@VictorTaelin you seem interesting :) Any thoughts on choosing project languages based on token efficiency? That’s been on my mind the past few days, and I’ve not come to a firm conclusion.

Money either isn’t a barrier, or the bar to where money is no longer an insurmountable barrier is much, much lower than I would have guessed. I’m far from “rich”, and certainly don’t have the cash laying around to do whatever I want - but I’ve found a path that leads through happiness if nothing else. It’s far more about risk tolerance and initiative than anything else.

“You shouldn’t feel afraid to lock the hell in if you have a vision” - this is where I am. I was stagnating in a previous role without even consciously realizing it. I found a new company where I wholly buy into the mission and truly believe that I’ll be able to change the world for the better. That alone has been more energizing and is a bigger driver of happiness in *all* areas of my life than I would have suspected. My advice: if you’re unhappy, *change*. Do the scary thing. It’s far better than to fail to fully achieve an audacious goal than to nail a conservative one - but I have no plans to fail :)

> Is this sincere or engagement bait? I think you can call it that way, sorry 😭 but not quite, more like making an exaggerated counter-point that said, how I actually feel about this is: I *am* glad I spent much time studying, working and investing early, since I achieved my goals, and I have a lot of freedom now. but I absolutely neglected other areas of my life (health, relationships) and I *am* paying a big price for that. bad sequelae from covid, almost dying from meningitis, and there isn't any person I know as deeply as I know the λ-calculus I don't have an answer, life is hard. but a polemic opinion that I can offer is: balance is not necessarily the key. you probably won't go from 0 to rich if you don't lock in and max out. extremes aren't necessarily bad, maxing out CAN pay off. you shouldn't be afraid to lock the hell in if you have a vision, and you shouldn't feel bad if you just wanna have fun and take it easy. just keep an eye on the consequences of each extreme choice and make sure you can manage them. then do whatever your heart tells you to
