Two months ago, I bought a new generator from an Igbo man's shop. I also purchased some fuel and a brand new engine oil to test it that same day. It was working perfectly fine. After the test, he wrote a receipt, packaged the generator, and I left with it. I used the generator for just one week before travelling to Lagos for an assignment, where I spent the next two months. Before leaving, I properly packed up the generator and locked it away. Upon my return from Lagos two months later, I discovered that our transformer had developed issues and there had been no electricity in our area for almost two weeks. I bought some fuel to power my new generator, but after running for a while, it would suddenly stop and go off. Eventually, it stopped working completely. Thinking it might be an engine oil problem, I changed the oil, but the generator still refused to start. I took it back to the seller and asked him to replace it. He refused, saying it had been two months since I bought it, and that if it had any issues, I should repair it rather than expecting a new one. I explained that I had only used it for one week before travelling to Lagos and had not touched it for the entire two months I was away. I questioned why I would need to repair a brand new generator that I had barely used. I insisted that he replace it, but he still refused, and the situation became heated. What I really don’t understand is why he doesn’t want to replace it and give me a new one.

Normally, Final trip na empty return Driving back home with no client = burning fuel 100% for nothing But today was different I got a client on my way back Instead of wasting full fuel, na just about 15% I use go house 🏠 Honestly, I was so happy and grateful If not that today nothing will come out of the whole trips Because imagine say I drive back empty… That means all that fuel for return journey for just reduce everything I made to minus today

@DMcjames8867 @AribisalaSeyi He does that, it Doesn't mean he'll find someone going there, it's still luck to see who's going your destination, and other drivers might still pick the request faster than him.. Sometimes one can stay hours and find no one going their route.

@AribisalaSeyi You can set your destination towards your area when going home, just set the address to a popular landmark, like a filling station or hotel, if there's any close to your place.
