Don't you think that using them to determine if an action is taken, is valid despite the fact that the number is arbitrary? Thanks!

@hughesanalytics The math is simple to prove this is not the case. Finding a consistent loser is as hard as finding a consistent winner. I show this in my book Fooled by Technical Analysis. eBook soon available in multiple bookstores.

Most of the time this isn't true. Flipping the logic still results in a downward sloping equity curve. Just looks different.

@momentmal2022 I'm not convinced that more screens boost productivity, Joachim. What's faster, moving your head or pressing a hot-key? I think programs like AutoHotKey or KeyboardMaestro give you that, very quick ways to switch between apps (and desktops) without the need of moving your head.

By the way, my new workstation set up is already working. The more screens you have, the more profits you make as a trader. I start to believe it now.

Sadly @randomdross passed away on 6/4/24 after suffering from debilitating sciatic nerve pain for 1.5 years. DM if you'd like to attend his memorial service. We will love him forever. -his family

@thechartist Fantastic for reading due to its size, but I still do not enjoy taking notes there. In other words, great as a reader but not that useful for writing. I still prefer real paper, or simply Apple Notes.

@Maruv @ferosoriano Gracias, Maru. Kindle ya probó pero no le sirve porque es complicado cargarle libros. Necesita de un dispositivo adicional para bajar, convertir, enviar, etc. Con una tablet él sabe cómo hacerlo. ☺️ Está en la zona de Palermo, cerca de Plaza Serrano.

@SystematicPeter Now that Google Docs has tabs, it changed everything for me. Writing in Obsidian has been a mess for me, but Google docs is natural, easy to access and you can of course have links and a ToC almost automatically

Finally found a medication that has been a lifesaver for my nerve pain. Not fantastic but it will do for the time being. Now I just need to wait a month for a MR neurogram. 😑 (PRP + 4 sciatic nerve hydrodissections fixed some things but then nerve pain ramped up.)
