Gitcoin 3.0: same mission, evolved tactics. For 8 years we've funded what matters. Gitcoin 3.0 builds on that foundation, aligning capital with domains that are good for humanity and sustainable for the ecosystems that support them. One domain where this convergence is especially visible: d/acc. d/acc includes fields like biosecurity, open source hardware, decentralized identity, ZK systems – sectors that require non-extractive funding to scale and reinforce the infrastructure beneath them. The next internet won't be limited by ideas. It'll be limited by how well we fund them. But builders don't always know where to look. Funders don't always know what to back. So we mapped it. 20 domains across two axes: Atoms ↔ Bits [physical → digital defense] Survive ↔ Thrive [threat mitigation → coordination] From resilient manufacturing to privacy-preserving computation, this is our framework for funding the next internet.

Psa your @gitcoin GG24 domain proposal is stronger if 1. focused on problems, (not solutionism pls) 2. articulates high leverage ways to solve the problems based on real research 3. has actual domain experts onboard 4. has funding from someone else besides just Gitcoin 5. a capital allocation methodology that fits the epistemology of your domain 6. a tldr at the top so I don’t have to the whole thing 7. ability to execute in October Thank you for your attention to this matter
