@Jobvo It can run Kimi or MiniMax models at around 60t/s from what I've seen... so it could output about 5 million tokens of inference per day... Maybe useful if you run it 24/7 working on a project, but too slow to do much real work... certainly not enough to recoup $30k in hardware

the inference speed is so low on this method compared to just calling the APIs of xAI/OpenAI/Anthropic that there's no point of ever doing this until we see an absolute massive jump in local compute power. Also the cost is ridiculous vs. paying for tokens.

I have built the future I'm now running 3 of the most powerful AI models in the world on my desk, completely privately, for just the cost of power. 3rd 512gb Mac Studio is in (Apple reached out and lent me the third one! Thanks Apple!) Here are the models I'll be running: • Kimi K2.5 (600gb across all 3 studios via EXO labs) • MiniMax 2.5 (120gb on one studio) • Qwen 3.5 (220gb on one studio) • GOT OSS 120B Heretic (60b on one studio- completely uncensored 😈) 3 ultra powerful models coding, writing, researching, reading your posts, 24 hours a day. 7 days a week. Nonstop. Running across 4 OpenClaws on 3 Mac Studios and a Mac Mini A few use cases I have set up: • Kimi K2.5 reading feature requests for Creator Buddy and building out the feature requests autonomously. My own personal product manager • MiniMax 2.5 reading Reddit all day, looking for challenges to solve. Then building prototypes for me to review every morning. All autonomously. Qwen 3.5 hitting the X API every hour to see top trending posts in AI and vibe coding. Turning those into video scripts for me to review hourly (this has already built me one script with over 100k views on YT) Unlimited economic power just sitting there. No cloud APIs. No crazy API bills. No tech executives reading my logs. Totally customizable and private. This is the future. I'm just showing it to you before it arrives

🚨 In a 6-3 vote, the Supreme Court STRIKES DOWN President Trump's tariffs, holding that the President CANNOT use the IEEPA and Congress alone has the taxing power. Roberts delivered the opinion/judgment of the Court. Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh dissent.

@MetalJesusRocks @analogue There's a zero percent chance they do this... Think of the customer support nightmare of an official product offering that requires non-tech users to open their device up with a screwdriver and transplant all of the components into a new shell... think of all that could go wrong.

@analogue Have you considered just selling the SHELLS? That would be great for early adopters & customers who bought the launch consoles but want the new cool colors.

@josecanyousee It’s almost impossible to overstate how toxic the Dem brand is nationwide, and stuff like this is a critical reason why. Paper-thin “problematic” accusations and an expectation that the broader public gives a shit about some of the dumbest, most useless personal drama of all time

Going to bring it back to the text that was sent to the Talarico campaign. The outreach had to do with two problematic figures: James Carville and Keith Edwards. The Talarico campaign appeared to side with Morgan but then… >James Talarico went on to do an interview with James Carville a few days ago. >Keith Edwards says that the Talarico campaign has not reached out to him about his posts. So why did they tell Morgan one thing and then do another?

@pr4m0d I remember electric playground. I think his cohost is actually still running it to this day. Tommy was the strangest reviewer. He'd pick some arbitrary gripe about a game and be like "they used too much orange, I give it a 5 out of 10"... totally bonkers stuff, but entertaining.

@MAlshaik__ > you can have any stance you want in private. who cares? Idk man, the position is still reprehensible, even if he kept it to himself. Maybe we can be charitable and assume he's a complete kool-aid drinking ignoramus with regard to Israel/Palestine, but that's not much better.

this is honestly just funny to me like the amount of ego you would need to hold this position and die on this hill he could have met him in private. but no. he needed to publicize it he is literally doing this for the love of the game there is no benefit to him but only potential harm to him and the company that means he believes in this position so heavily that he feels like he must take a public stance which is just absolutely insane to me you can have any stance you want in private. who cares? but to feel the need to put this in front of everyone even if it means bad rep for your company is a different level. this is also very irresponsible for everyone else in the company. all his employees will now face the negatives of this position. its one thing if he only had his own reputation to worry about. But in his case, it also is the reputation of everyone in the company. It is just a very irresponsible position in general. this shows his lack of humility and reflects very poorly on his leadership in genereal.

We spoke about AI empowering everyone to build software and the importance of ensuring it serves quality and progress. Optimistic for peace, safety, and greatness for Israel and its neighbors.

@rileybrown_ai "better"? no... faster? yes. and in many agentic coding sessions that tradeoff is a good one. I really want a way to use GPT-5 for planning and Sonnet 4.5 for the work.

@Willi_ammmm @EricPhy @claudeai I mean, it's no surprise that the LLM itself doesn't know what it is, but they probably ought to put something in the chat's system prompt to tell Claude what it is... makes these types of introspective queries less awkward.

@shellscape @mjackson Charlie Kirk did not deserve to die. What happened was horrific. I don't understand this revisionist take on his character. Charlie was not about love and mutual respect. He made a career as a provocateur, capturing attention with rage-baiting, sophistry, and bad faith arguments
