@AaronSchein @arash_tehran @emanabdelhadi County level results don't provide enough information. MI-12 includes some of Oakland and some of Wayne but not all of either. I am skeptical the district flipped but I don't see anywhere that has data on that level yet.

@arash_tehran @emanabdelhadi This isn’t true. Tlaib’s district is made up of Oakland and Wayne county which went 54% and 62% for Harris respectively. In 2020 those counties went 56% and 68% for Biden. So there’s a shift (consistent with the rest of the country), but Tlaib’s district did not flip.

Rashida won in a state Kamala lost, in districts that flipped from Biden to Trump. These people didn’t suddenly turn right wing, they were actively lost by the Democrats who chose to ignore and patronize them.

@PerNewton @dieworkwear @thenanyu Perhaps the trick is limiting the contrasts; Hedi Slimane's dark jeans have a clearly distinct texture but similar color to the worsted jacket. With the other two it's contrasting on all levels

Once a suit jacket has lost its original pair of pants—either because they've been worn through, stained, ripped, or otherwise made unwearable—there's nothing you can do. This is why tailors always recommend getting two pairs of trousers for each jacket, as once the trousers are gone, the jacket is likely useless. You can't find another pair of pants because making fabric is part art and part science. Even if the mill produced the same cloth—same spec, same weave, same color, etc—there will always be subtle variation. This small variation means your jacket will never match your pants exactly. The only way a suit jacket can be worn without its original pair of pants is if it convincingly passes for a sport coat. I've written a few threads on the difference between a suit jacket and sport coat, and will not rehash it here. If you have a brown corduroy suit and the pants can no longer be worn, then the jacket can easily be worn as a corduroy sport coat. If you have a navy worsted wool suit jacket that has lost its accompanying pants, then there's nothing that can be done.
