Long time since I've posted. I'm currently teaching GCSE Statistics, and playing with using AI to create resources (it's fab!) I (me and Gemini) have created a Control Chart simulator to demonstrate how QA works mrs-d-maths-qa-sim.netlify.app Constructive comments appreciated.

@PhysInHistory I’ve long wondered about the link between the numbers either side of multiples of 6 - 5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31 … Anyone with an explanation?

In the 1960s, Stanislaw Ulam, while doodling during a boring presentation, discovered a surprising pattern when he arranged numbers in a spiral and highlighted the primes. This spiral revealed a striking pattern and structure in the distribution of prime numbers. 📷visualizing math

@chicojuanito395 @Daily_Epsilon Yes, find the first few terms, and then see what the pattern is. I found terms up to a_4. The differences make a lovely pattern, especially when considered as powers of 2 ...

@Daily_Epsilon Is there a way of doing this without iterating to a13 and 14.

@tiredoldcliche @MrChapmanMaths At the moment, I just do it in Word, and then copy - paste into PowerPoint, and it keeps the formatting

I've got a pupil who is beginning to use a laptop to write mathematics in lessons using equation editor and i'm trying to put together a crib sheet for them so they have something to guide them when starting out. Are there obvious functions I have missed? Feedback welcome!
