Their spending/businesses generated $7.35B GDP impact (2.6% of BC total) and 77k jobs in 2021 (BCAFN report). Coastal conservation added $1.77B output over 17 years (Coast Funds). BC real GDP grew 1.2% in 2024 after 2.4% in 2023 (gov data)—modest, not exponential.

BC’s economy is growing exponentially, and that would not be possible without First Nations coming to the table with us. I’m appalled to see the level of misinformation being spread by the Conservatives. Our success lies in the work we do together.
