@Knightly_Hist In Dark Souls 1, glitchless, you can fight the 4 kings as your 3rd boss in the entire game. It's "supposed" to be anywhere from 5th last to 2nd last base game boss.
Mind you, there's no good reason to really do this, but the fact that you can is genuinely really cool.

I mean I hope it's still a good general zombie movie but man, we're never going to see Resident Evil 1 on the big screen in all its glory. RE7 was a deviation from the formula over two decades into a series of games that stuck to it. In terms of movie adaptions of Resident Evil we have never gotten a single actual faithful adaptation, for any sequential new film to deviate from. It's all been deviations. RE7 stood out because it was different at a time when the series had lost its way, the only thing that'd make a new Resident Evil movie stand out from the others isn't another deviation, it'd be if it was actually the same for once.

They made RESIDENT EVIL 7 about a brand new character who's face we dont even see, set in Louisiana and no Umbrella Corporation. A lot of fans see it as the scariest and one of the best installments of the franchise so can't we just look at Zach Cregger's film in that way? 🤷♂️

I'm not aware of the details enough to actually verbalize the difference though.

No. Cel-based animation just genuinely looked better. It allowed for color gradients just not possible with digital animation.
Digital animation just took over because its generally easier than having to draw every individual frame like you had to with Cels.
