the way everyone does branding/marketing is trying to imagine how they want people to see them but the task is figuring out who you actually are because that's the only thing you can actually pull off

@dariusdan Honestly, Apple subscriptions are their own love language. Heard Creator Studio has some cool features but yeah, not sure it’s worth the price yet.

Just noticed Apple launched this subscription model of Creator Studio. Is it good at something? It seems quite expensive.

We went from 100,000 new eBooks a month to 300,000. Basically 2 out of 3 new books are now AI slop.

There are maybe 8 books written before 1980 that contain everything you need to know about persuasion. The rest is commentary.

People really think safety boots are “too much” until something like this happens.

Once AI "takes over", we can finally do things just for the sake of doing it. There's a world that we live in that both of these realities are true.

@dariusdan Tech / AI Twitter saying designers are cooked because of Claude being able to design. Dude, we were "cooked" when computers first came out (remember when design was actually done by hand? WE STILL HERE! the tech made it easier for the doing, but the thinking is still the same

How important is proper branding? Even huge companies suffer: HP is having a tough time getting mindshare for its Smart Tank here in the Philippines. It's not even about pricing. They're priced cheaper. (Epson) but consumers are choosing Epson over them. The reason? Branding recall. (they don't exist)
