Why do you assume he’s looking to hate. Writers are using these analogies as a justification to change characters… You can see yourself associated with it as a queer person, but that doesn’t make it strictly a queer analogy, nor does it mean that a character is queer, or trans, etc.

Reminder: Some of the shows claiming they’re coming back because the strike’s been too hard for everyone are actually just returning from a pre-scheduled summer hiatus. They didn’t have shows for a while because they were scheduled to be on vacation, not because of the strike.

Yeah...Kevin Conroy wrote an autobiographical comic called "Finding Batman" where he related his struggles as a closeted gay actor to Batman living dual identities.
His very personal battle as a gay man gave birth to THE most iconic Batman performance of all time.

@EazyE_vs_TheDOC @cynicalzoomer In a sense it’s worse than that, because Born in the USA can easily be misheard if you aren’t already aware it’s satire. Fight Club both as a novel and as a film has entire sections and characters warning against the pitfalls of masculinity and consumerism.

@helloimKennyK @Geekdaddy75 @MaxPriestley Telling on yourself about how little you actually you've read. Fanboys make terrible comics for the most part, the 2000s was shit book after shit book by fanboys. Morrison and Byrne are really the only consistently good fan creators.
