Fresh press out of @JACCJournals highlighting our work with ALT-FLOW EFS: 2-Year Highlights (APTURE LA→CS shunt) 1️⃣ 82 % of participants moved ≥1 NYHA class lower 2️⃣ 89 % “responders” (≥ 5-pt ↑ in KCCQ-OSS; mean +31 pts) 3️⃣ +46 m in 6-min-walk distance 4️⃣ Gains held regardless of pulmonary vascular resistance 5️⃣ 100 % shunt patency through 5 yrs; -MACCRE 2.8 % at 30 d 6️⃣ No adverse RV remodeling on echo 💡 Take-home: sustained LAP unloading via LA-to-CS shunting delivers meaningful, durable QOL & functional benefits for HFpEF/HFmrEF—without sacrificing safety.
