There’s been a lot going on today so it didn’t feel like it was worth sharing, but tomorrow morning I’m running my first 1/2 marathon.

My puppy cracked his nail and it started bleeding at the dog park and now I have him propped up on the couch with pillows and treats and a bandage like he is an 18th century woman dying of consumption.

It’s my last day of being 43 😩 my first year navigating the world without my dad. Also a year I’m going to get to watch my nephew grow up and take pleasure in watching my friends and family celebrate milestones. Hopefully while being gainfully employed lol.
