1st image is a response from grok, 2nd and 3rd in black background is a response from Gemini and 4th image (again in white background) is a response from ChatGPT. All of them were given the same prompt.
Literally, no one said that from the image it looks like a professional networking website @LinkedIn@LinkedInIndia
Ok, just based on this image and no other context, if you have to guess what product or service a website with this image on the landing page is providing, what would be your guess? I am not looking for answers wrt which website has this. I am asking just based on the image, what kind of goods/service does it look like the website would be providing?
You have to give it to Odisha. Even with so much population in Puri, the beach is so clean! I wish people all over India were as conscious for cleanliness.
To those who are saying GTK, QT are also same, I disagree. First of all, Basic is a super simple language and very much easier for a total new comer to pick up. Additionally, Visual Basic made coding for GUI super simple where you just click on an element and code what you want to happen when some event happens on that element. And the event you could select via menu. I don't doubt you can achieve all those using GTK, QT etc, but for someone new to programming, there is no contest to VB in terms of its simplicity.
You used to be able to just create a Native GUI App in 10 seconds. No Electron, no Game Engines, no Web frameworks. Just a lean fast .EXE produced in seconds. Works on any Windows machine WITHOUT Internet connection. Software Development is actually going backwards.
Economist Arthur Laffer: "If you tax people who work, and you pay people who don't work, do not be surprised if you have a lot of people not working."
"We tax speeders on the highways to get them to stop speeding. We tax cigarettes to get people to stop smoking."
"Why then do we tax people who earn income? Why do we tax people who employ other people? Why do we tax companies that make wonderful products at low cost and make lots of profits?"
"Don't for a moment think that the same consequences don't befall taxes on income, employment, and profits as they do on speeders and on smokers."
@akashbanerjeeab Agreed. Any medium that can be used to propagate information can be used to propagate misinformation. I am not saying misinformation is new, it's just that it is now so prevalent that it feels like _an age of misinformation_.
@sbjoshi The internet has enabled both the spread of information and misinformation. If someone believed in a conspiracy, Google would present them with hundreds of theories to support it, while social media would help them connect with like-minded individuals.
AI is simply more potent.
In the first decade of this century, we entered information age, once internet became ubiquitous. Now we have entered the age of misinformation since AI has become ubiquitous.
"Without teachers, life would have no class"
--Anonymous
I had read this quote several years ago, and it's so true even today. So many teachers, from school to college and beyond has taught so many things, not only academic stuff but about life. Happy Teacher's Day to all my teachers for providing me guidance and lessons through the journey of life.
🙏
@Indian_Analyzer How about investigating, suspending and removing MiLords? They are worse than policiticians. No accountability, not even once in 5 years.
🚨 Modi Govt set to drop a Constitutional NUKE on tainted politicians!
~ Any PM, CM, Union or State Minister who remains in custody for 30 consecutive days in cases with 5+ yrs jail term will be REMOVED from office🔥
Even the PM won’t be spared. On 31st day, resignation is MANDATORY; if not, AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION kicks in🤯
~ No more tainted netas clinging to power. Kejriwal clung to power from JAIL for months.
With Modi Govt’s new amendment, 30 days in custody = AUTOMATIC OUT.
@neeldhara Is that for training teachers? Or teachers collectively training students? I agree with @mnwsth , none of the logos seem to symbolize Guru, or Setu or even knowledge. But if I must pick from these, it would be 326 by rainmar.
We will be soft-launching a new initiative for teachers in the higher education sector in India, centered around a training program but will also feature a community and regular live events (workshops, talks, etc).

Perhaps twitterverse can help me. I am experimenting with various coding agents for a personal project, nothing serious. So far only copilot with GPT-4o or sonnet-3.7 were somewhat helpful in achieving partially what I really wanted to do. Then I hit copilot monthly limit.
I tried switching to gemini with vscode and I found it utterly useless. Just at high level design phase, it gives up and hits its limits, let alone generating any code. It works on canvas but not on VS code and I don't know how to do full development on canvas.
Cline with vscode also hits the free limits very fast.
Any suggestions on which extension/agent combination works best with VSCode in free tier? I am just trying to automate some things that I do manually for my personal use.
@mnwsth Exactly, this is one of the problems. Those who are perceived as good researchers are given administrative positions and it does not necessarily correlate. Sachin Tendulkar was a great batsman but he was not a great captain.
@PrimeVideoIN what the hell? Changing terms of subscription midway? I have paid ₹1499/- for ad-free 4K subscription and now you say payment ₹699/- extra for ad-free experience? Bloody hell. The free content on your platform is so small it can fit in a floppy disk and now demand ₹2200 per annum for this? I am going to file a complaint for breach of promised service. @amazonIN@amazon
@nitin_gadkari I think it's high time to amend the MV Act and declare that any wrong side driving people would be charged with attempt to murder. People are now driving on the wrong side, not on the shoulder but on the right most lane (overtaking lane) where vehicles typically have higher speeds.
