@Intuit: A Fortune 500 company that can't keep a simple transactional email service online (@mandrillapp ) and can't be bothered to update its status page. Your outages often last hours. That should be enough time to update a status page.

Anyone else find it crazy that @Mailchimp has such a terrible record of keeping Mandrill online, yet their last posts on @Mailchimp or @MailchimpStatus or @mandrillapp are YEARS old? @Intuit has really left that company an empty husk, hasn't it?

It's starting to respond again. Slowly. Please at least hold it together until I can finish migrating everything away from your services.

@dreamreality @Mailchimp @mandrillapp @MailchimpStatus Mailchimp support is only crickets. Unfortunately I think the only option is to leave for another service. So far @Mail_Gun has been easy to set up, and is a free trial. Hopefully they perform well. This is definitely not what I wanted to be doing today. 🙁

@Mailchimp @mandrillapp @MailchimpStatus MANDRILL IS EFFECTIVELY DOWN. Messages are either delayed forever they fail to send with this SMTP error: 452 4.3.1 Insufficient system storage Thousands of WI teachers are unable to keep records or communicate with their districts.

And I know they have a very strict spam filter which required a whitelist on our Mandrill sender. But I only have like 500 messages through so far. I'm currently requesting a static IP to make this easier.

If it had even a single full-time engineer or communications agent, I couldn't imagine it being handled this poorly. Outage time so far: 6 hours

@hesgraffty @Mailchimp @mandrillapp @MailchimpStatus Mailchimp couldn't make a fix. The best they could do is make a comment on their status page. A comment. Not an outage status. Just a, "Hey, we heard maybe something's going on" comment. On the plus side, @Mail_Gun has been super simple to set up so far.

@seannelson @Mailchimp @mandrillapp @MailchimpStatus This is affecting my business as well. There's one response on here acknowledging the issue but no official status report anywhere else. I've had to switch our systems to Mailgun as a backup.

@mandrillapp The service we rely on for email delivery, Mailchimp, is down. Unfortunately, they are not acknowledging the problem on their status page.
