@MichiganVoter69 @legal_nobody @BarExamTutor You aren’t aware of the prevalence of fed/state attorneys. Nor are you aware of the dynamics of poor people just wanting to be lawyers. T-14 or not. T14 lawyers in public law get paid as the 110 ranked school

@secretplot2828 @legal_nobody @BarExamTutor I forgot abt PSLF but I don’t think most ppl want to go into public service. My point was more that law school (outside of the top schools) operates on a price discrimination model and most people are not (or at least shouldn’t be) paying full price when scholarships are abundant

Sean Silverman: Silverman Bar Exam & LSAT Tutoring
Let’s unwrap this: A score of 162 falls at the 80th percentile on the LSAT. The 80th percentile means that the score is higher than 80% of the people who take the test. If 10 people are in a room, and x scores better than 8 of those 10 people, x’s score is not a good score?! Disagree. Quite a lot, actually.
Typos of the New York Times@nyttypos

@BarExamTutor *160s (apostrophes don’t pluralize). When you tutor people in a pass-fail test on rudimentary legal trivia that can only be failed by the completely unprepared and people with massive cognitive deficits for a living, you kind of have to think that bad test scores are good.

@legal_nobody @BarExamTutor Nobody with half a brain is paying 300k for a school other than a T14 with near guaranteed biglaw placement, at least when you can get massive scholarships elsewhere

@BarExamTutor It's a good score in a vacuum, just not a good score for securing a position that will enable comfortable repayment of what may now be $300k of tuition, fees, etc.

@ProsecutorsPod @WillyDiBa7 The positives about Lexis and Westlaw AI are it contains a feature of linking to the case, showing its real and contains its actual citation. Never let it pull direct quotes. It’s good for giving you a wide swath of related cases.

@WillyDiBa7 I don't understand how AI saves time over just learning how to formulate good search terms. Maybe as a last result if standard research isn't working.

@____Holyspawn @ibzsmo3k That’s not how cancer works nor has there been any cases of someone taking testosterone and getting cancer. It’s just point blank not true.

@dilanesper Why is there so little discussion about how terrible the actual policy of birthright citizenship is, regardless of its constitutionality? How can opposition to eliminating this policy be construed as anything other than an intention to harm the interests of the United States?

@JohnnyMosby1776 @jkimballcook I said sanders didn’t run… which is fundamentally true. He dropped out of the race…. Again, I didn’t vote for any democrat. Are you autistic
