Sometimes Twitter is nice. Sometimes you discover artists and they make you artwork from your childhood.
Thank you @_claiire for this beautiful piece!

@simoncorry @figma This is why Paper is sticking with flat seat based pricing and “bring your own agent”
English

Goodbye @figma, I will remember our time fondly. In the end you broke the one cardinal rule... never come between a builder and their tools.

English

@melson_miranda @figma @MagicPathAI Yeah I hear you on the MCP. Given the effort we've put into the DS+Figma integration it makes it hard to just walk away. That being said Paper is incredibly enticing.
English

Figma (only bcuz of their MCP), React Grab and CC. It works really well once you have DS in place (design + code). Cursor imo has the same effort based pricing issue. I tried stitch v1, wasn't that great but gonna try it out this weekend along with paper. I read good things about paper; they would definitely take the lead if they implement something like tokens(dot)studio.
English

@stephenhaney @figma ^ This 100000%. Happy to pay more per seat to understand what I'm getting.
English

@59thProfile @figma It's for any AI feature in the suite. It's an internal currency. It's not the cost that's the issue it's the method of implementation.
English

@simoncorry @figma Is this for make? You thought that it would cost like 15 bucks for an ai code gen tool. Huh. Do you know what these things cost to even run. They told you for months what the deal was
English

@melson_miranda @figma Cursor or CC replaced early iteration for me. Figma was my happy place where I used to take concepts that I'd validated with high conviction and had fun polishing. Now I'm actively experimenting with @MagicPathAI, Paper & Stitch.
No one has cracked the nut yet. How about you?
English

@simoncorry @figma Yeah I’m with you on that one…What else works best for you? Similar tools or Claude Code directly? I’m curious to know more about your current workflow.
English

@melson_miranda @figma You're right and my workaround is not using Figma.
English

@simoncorry @figma Builders build regardless of the tools they have or don't have...it's your job to find a workaround.
Seems like you got a little too dependent on the free AI Candy.
English

@simoncorry @figma it’s insane to give these design tools credit dollars. just work directly with the agents - you can pass design between Figma and Claude for pennies
English

@melson_miranda @figma I'll put it this way, I'm a builder, I build. If you take my tools away I can't build. At no point did I stop to think about how much it cost for me to build because I was under the impression I already bought the tool.
English

@simoncorry @figma How much does it cost you to implement a change and fix if it’s wrong? Trying to understand their credit system.
English

@dominikkoch @tryramp We're here when you need us, feel free to DM me whenever, I'll you set up with someone awesome!
English

@simoncorry @tryramp I checked and it requires 25k in a us bank account so probably not for now
English

@krispuckett You are one of my favorite people to have met last year.
English

Feels a bit wild, but I'm really freaking excited and grateful to be on Deep Dive with Ridd.
These new tools have changed how I create and have helped me in unbelievable ways. I get so fired up taking about AI and design.
Ridd is also an incredible interviewer!
Ridd 🤿@ridd_design
what does it look like to be an AI-native designer today? @krispuckett is a great example imo so today's episode is all about his journey building his ideas and pushing the limits of how this tech can shape every aspect of his life it's a good one 👇 youtube.com/watch?v=nPyxVM…

Never in a million years would you guess what the purpose of these are. That’s the genius of JPA and why @tryramp is such a special place.
