What Brennan (who is in the CC book business) doesn't understand is teams see the day-to-day work of a player. CC avg. 21 and 8 looks EPIC on paper. She's a well deserving All-Star. But 43% shooting, 4.6 TOs, horrible defense, flopping and leading a mediocre team ain't a WOW.

Iowa’s women’s basketball team: 10 Big10 regular szn titles, 6 Big10 tournaments, 32 NCAA Tournament appearances, and 3 Final Four appearances, 2 of those before Caitlin Clark arrived but yes with 24k ugrad enrollment they’re indeed “small”.

Has anyone outside of Lisa Leslie in the WNBA TV media sphere defended Clark. Or at least discussed how that wasn’t a basketball play? Put any blame on Thomas at all? Just seems like everyone is finding ways to make that play seem normal or making Thomas a victim. Seems odd. Like we all see the video. We’ve all watched ball.
