Newspaper editorial boards calling on Biden to drop out, but not the candidate convicted of 34 felonies and held liable for sexual assault is some spineless, chicken shit, What The Fuckery. Stand up to the old man but cower to the convicted felon who led an insurrection? Remind me never to count on an editorial writer to have my back in a dark alley. I’ve worked in journalism my entire adult life. Journalists are some of the sharpest people I’ve ever met. But many lack self awareness when it comes to the reasons why our profession is despised by the general public— and these audacious takes by editorial boards only make it harder for respected journalists at these publications to do their jobs.

Reality check: @JoeBiden is the nominee of the Democratic Party, nominated by voters in primaries across the country. Unless the @POTUS, himself, decides to quit--which he won't--that issue is settled. The discussion that is going on now was timely a year ago, when few wanted to have it. It's largely irrelevant today.
