I am so sick of this crap. Go have a look at a map and see who our closest neighbour is. Then do a little research and figure out who has the world’s largest economy and strongest military. Then try and figure out how our national security and defence is built and operates. Then sort out our trade issues with that country. Then and only then will you have done your job.

🪨 Every year, an estimated one million folded notes are pressed into the cracks of this wall. They are collected twice a year and buried in a Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives. Nobody reads them.
The Western Wall in Jerusalem, known in Hebrew as the Kotel, is the last visible remnant of the retaining structure built by Herod the Great around 19 BCE to support the platform of the Second Temple. When Rome destroyed the Temple in 70 CE, this wall survived. For nearly two thousand years, as Jewish communities lived scattered across the world with no access to their holiest site, the Kotel became the place where the longing to return was focused. The tradition of pressing written prayers into its stones dates back centuries, and today the wall holds the prayers of people from every country on earth, in every language, on paper that ranges from crisp and new to soft with age. The stones themselves are massive beyond what photographs usually convey: some of the foundation blocks weigh over five hundred tons and were placed without mortar, relying entirely on their own weight to hold. ✡️
Two thousand years of exile, and the wall that outlasted all of it is still standing.

In 1803, a British blacksmith named John Jewitt was taken captive by Chief Maquinna of the Mowachat people of Vancouver Island. He was asked to file the teeth of the Chief’s brother so the guy could bite off his wife’s nose for refusing to put out.

They were terrorized by the Arabs to leave, with radio pronouncements to leave so as to be out of the way as the attacking Arab armies said they would drive the Jews in to the sea. The Mayor of Haifa, pleaded w the Arabs to stay, and many did! Haifa is today a calm, respectful mixed community where Israeli Arabs have full equality. Across Israel Arabs work as doctors, nurses, lawyers, judges, army generals, as engineers in hitech, biotechnology, as teachers, professors, politicians, entrepreneurs, restauranteurs, as international ambassadors and NONE of them want to live under the Palestinian Authority! No one blinks an eye in Israel. Yesh tikvah.

I filed the private prosecution after BC NDP Attorney General Niki Sharma chose not to act, despite the Vancouver Police recommending charges. This group says it’s not about censorship but that is exactly what this is.
The silent majority is tired of this bullying by a small, loud, angry group - they can form whatever alliance they want - but this is about the taxpayers of B.C. getting tired of paying for other people’s special interests and having these views forced upon all of us.
You do your thing. Raise the money for your events yourself - stop silencing others - and we’re good!
