Introducing Chroma Cloud: an open-source serverless search database that is fast, cost-effective, scalable, and reliable.

Announcing Our $3.8M Seed Round to Make Voice AI Agents Reliable 🎙 If 2024 was the year of demos, 2025 is the year of reliable voice agents. We’re excited to share that @HammingAI has raised $3.8M in seed funding led by @MischiefVC, with participation from @ycombinator, @aigrant, @pioneer_fund, @CoughdropCap, @coalitionvc, @orangecollectv, @twentytwovc, @transposevc, @OliveTreeCap and an incredible group of angels. Read more about us here: 1) Blog: hamming.ai/blog/hamming-a… 2) Coverage by Kerry Flynn from Axios: axios.com/pro/media-deal… Humans make billions of calls every day. AI voice agents will perform a majority of these calls. Ensuring their reliability is tough — small changes can break responses, and manual testing doesn’t scale. Even when you ship your voice agents to production, teams spend hours manually listening to calls to find bugs and edge cases. At @HammingAI, we automate testing, monitoring, and governance for Voice AI agents, helping teams catch failures, optimize prompts, and flag edge cases in production. Hamming makes your Voice AI agents trustworthy. Thanks to our team, customers, and investors for believing in this mission.

1/18 I'm incredibly excited to announce @duckdb in @PostgreSQL in the latest version of @paradedb. When we set to bring fast analytics to Postgres earlier this year, we did not expect the journey to take us here. Here's what happened 🧵

In 2007 I joined a team at Google with the crazy idea to put a database in the browser. That database: SQLite. The Gears project was killed, as was the next attempt to put SQLite in the browser, and the two after that. Nearly two decades later, the dream is finally materializing. We’re on the cusp of a revolution in web app development. Local-first products like @replicache and @hello_reflect will dramatically change the way we build the web, massively improving both its ux and dx. Listen to the entire tale of how we finally got local-storage in browsers in this interview with @schickling. Thank you Johannes for the invite, this was super fun!
