@KatezRight @yvessirae From males and females. Don’t pretend that women are harmless and don’t assault. The point you were trying to make is that men don’t have to be aware of their surroundings and watch out for danger, which as I said is total BS

🚨 HOLY CRAP! President Trump is now CUTTING OFF all trade with Spain after their leftist PM said to not use bases in their country to strike Iran "Spain has absolutely nothing we need...we're gonna cut off ALL TRADE with Spain. We don't want ANYTHING to do with Spain." FAFO!🔥

@shayrad21 @yvessirae This says more about your beliefs about the world than any actual danger. You have decided that you are in constantly in danger. If you look at statistics, men are way more likely to be assaulted than are women.

@stuartpsych @yvessirae I will have some walls up around a stranger in a bar. Because he could drug my drink. He could hurt me while I’m drugged. I don’t know if you’re a good person or not and I’m not risking it because me being careful hurts your feelings

@KatezRight @yvessirae Actually this is not true. Men are at far greater risk of assault than are females. Men are constantly monitoring their surrounds for danger and how to escape/avoid. The difference is they are watching out for your safety as well as their own

@stuartpsych @yvessirae Nah. He didn't think of it bc men don't have to. It's not a concern for them. They also don't worry about how they dress, where they walk, where the exits are, their surroundings, first date safety & so on. Our experiences created that fear. Every woman has a story.

Left-wing activists can't abandon "gender identity." It's a central load-bearing pillar of their ideology and movement built around queerness and intersectionality. They need it to be their next civil rights cause because the major ones based in reality have already been won.

Gotta love how NASA wants us to believe they have the ability to take super clear, high resolution videos in outer space but for the astronaut recovery they have to use a camcorder from 1998. 🥴

@mark16pg You idiot, it is the responsibility of developed and wealthier countries to be responsible for climate change and to try and assist developing countries. You are correct, for a lot of them it’s just about survival so we need to look after the climate

I'm in Thailand population 72m population. They don't five a fuck about climate change or emissions. Neither do Phillipines 110m population. Neither do Indonesia with a population of 265m. Why is that? Because they are too busy trying to survive. Australia, with a population of 26m, is going to save the planet on its own by destroying its economy. If you believe that you need help.

@crumplelush @ok6ixx It is implied she is threatening him with the knife to gage his reaction. You say she didn’t pick it up but you have no knowledge of that. If you can’t see the implied threat then … whatever. As you have decided you are the expect, I’ll discuss it no more

@stuartpsych @ok6ixx Someone saying “what” while holding a knife is not abuse. She had the knife in her hand because she was in the kitchen using it, she didn’t pick it up to threaten or brandish it. It was incidental. Your “recognition” of abuse is an assumption you’ve made

wow my brother was telling me this joke and he said "if you're fighting with a woman and she pulls a knife on you, just pull out the bread and cheese and meat and her womanly instincts in and she'll just make you a sandwich" then all of a sudden our mom emerges from the kitchen holding a huge knife and she approaches my brother asking "sorry what was that?" and he started screaming 100000000 points to mom.

@stuartpsych @ok6ixx As someone who has experienced abuse, I don't appreciate people like you who call things like this abuse because it lessens the impact of actual abuse.

For years we've been told that women are the ones who want marriage and babies, while men want to be single and free. But for some bizarre reason, now that more women are choosing to stay single and child-free, a surprising number of men are getting very angry about this..

Anonymous: I punched a guy bc he was making rape jokes and one of the things he said was "what's the difference between yes and no? Nothing" so l asked him if he'd care if I punched him in the face and he said yes but did it anyway since there's no difference between yes and no and that's the story of how I gave someone a bloody nose.

Men be like, “I’m the Head of this household! I’m the CEO!” But then can’t tell you their child’s pediatrician’s name or shoe sizes.. It’s weird that I feel the need to remind men that their own children are not employees. You’re supposed to love and care for them.

This is why “LGB” makes no sense. Two groups of people could not be more different- ESPECIALLY with regard to sexuality. Gay male culture is basically a constant sex party. They eschew monogamy as “heteronormative”, when in fact it’s just counter to the male libido & male promiscuity. There are no women to keep the excesses of male sexuality in check. Then look at lesbian culture. Basically the exact opposite. Monogamy is a given, even among couples who haven’t had sex with each other in years. Lesbianism is much more about feminist philosophy (or tbh, misandry) than it is sexual attraction to women. And then the Bs inclusion makes no sense for even more obvious reasons.

I’ve said it before, I will say it again, and I will die on this hill no matter who it upsets: shit like this contributes to the negative public perception of gays just as much as the nonsense that comes from the TQ+. The rights gay people fought for were only earned after decades of effort from activists trying to change the public perception of gays so that people no longer viewed them as sexually deviant perverts. Gay men seemingly being hell bent on “normalizing” hedonistic behavior and trying to frame things like cruising and bath houses as important parts of “gay culture” accomplishes nothing other than proving the people who viewed as us a sexual deviants right. Your inability to control every impulse and urge you have has nothing to do with “community” or “safe spaces.” It’s embarrassing. Please stop.
Soren With Ward 8@sorenmpls

Bathhouses have historically been important community and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ neighbors. We also know from cities like San Francisco that these spaces can advance health equity and increase access to sexual healthcare. startribune.com/minneapolis-or…

@ronrule Tipping makes no sense. I do my job as best as I can and I get paid by my employer. I expect my employer to pay me to do my job. I don’t expect people to tip me. The difference is I work in healthcare not in the service industry

Percentages make no sense for tipping. I go to a restaurant and order a $20 steak. Guy at the table next to me orders a $100 steak. If I tip $5 I’m considered a great tipper, but he’s expected to tip at least $20. Why? The server literally did the same amount of work!

I just found out that the word “vagina” comes from Latin, where it means basically a holder for a penis. Even in language, women’s bodies are defined in relation to men. That’s how deep patriarchy runs. It also shapes how we name women’s anatomy. The default reference point is male, and the female body gets framed as secondary, as something designed for men and sex. So even something as fundamental as anatomy isn’t neutral. It’s been filtered through a lens that centers men, to the point where women’s bodies are linguistically reduced to function and utility for men rather than autonomy.
