The (almost) 4 year old’s birthday party has to be canceled, her grandparents can’t visit on her birthday, etc. I’m so sad for all of us.

My baby getting COVID the same day @US_FDA finally approves vaccines is just too cruel. It’s not just caring for a sick baby while being quite sick myself, it’s the 14-day quarantine with a 1 year old & a 4 year old.

@LucyStats Thanks, Lucy! I have had many debates over p-values in Table 1 😔 Some medical journals insist on them and it’s so frustrating.

@LucyStats Thank you for your presentation and the lively discussion! I also prefer using confidence intervals. How do you respond when a journal/reviewer demands p-values? My clinical collaborators always want to just give them p-values to get published ASAP….

@jerkob As someone who lives in the Triangle and works at Duke, it’s absolutely wild. I’ve never seen so many Duke/UNC shirts on people just out & about. I find the rivalry fun, but some people take it very seriously.

This game means nothing to me personally but I enjoyed this piece. Another good line in it: "No matter where they are they're always eight miles apart."
