@pushmeet @GoogleDeepMind I find it disappointing you still holster the 20 job limit and don't allow all ligand inputs of the server itself. You've created a massive disparity between potential users and the access to perform much needed work to drive the scientific field forward.

We love the excitement & results from the community on AlphaFold 3 and are doubling the AF Server daily job limit to 20. Happy to also share that we're working on releasing the AF3 model (incl weights) for academic use, which doesn’t depend on our research infra, within 6 months.

In this paper, our contribution leveraged AlphaFold 2 and our software CAPSIF to predict the residues of these proteins that interact with carbohydrates! Very excited by this work and the possibilities of this novel dataset in the near future!

In this work, Dr. Gao-Lan Zhang and the Schnaar lab determined the interactome of cell surface proteins and a gangliosides revealing immense detail to proteome understanding of carbohydrate binding.
