I see a lot of Pakistanis lately mocking Indian Muslim attire of Sherwanis, Kurtas and Payjamas. It's not that their mockery makes any difference, our attire is tied to royalty and nobility, spread till the Sultanate of Oman. However, they should know a crucial thing - the sherwanis, kurtas and payjamas the Pakistanis wear, which makes them look like clowns and get mocked by others, is taken from the likes of Hindu Baniya Gujarati Ambani households or the Pujabified Bollywood. It has nothing to do with the Indian Muslims. Look at these pictures, these are poor or middle class people, rubbing their sandals of Birth Indian heat. Look how dignified and noble they look. This is the Indian Muslim way of donning those dresses. This was easadopted by the royalty and nobility, so you also, if you wear our dresses, wear in the way we do, do not copy the Hindus or Sikh Punjabis. If you are embracing Indian Muslim attire, then do it authentically and then judge.

@tachyons313 The Saudi/Arab version of Iranian Pahlavists "Islam bad, Islam ruins our culture" then proceed to wear western bikinis/miniskirts, marry whites, do dances that aren't even elegant and their children don't know Arabic/Farsi, and then they call it "true Iranian/Arab culture"
