I think you would agree that if the answer to any of those is NO, you would be including an unnecessary variable to a test that the only variable should be the two putter styles.

I think @mygolfspy, @puttview, @SashoMacKenzie , and @TheStackSystem need to all get together and sort out this mallets vs. blades thing. Two competing sets of data lead to some very interesting contradictory results.
