The passenger had chest pain and @SouthwestAir handled everything quickly and calmly. Plus, their mini crash cart was impressive. When we landed in Chicago, @CFDMedia transported him to the hospital and Southwest made sure his wife had a ride to meet him.

5 years ago flying home after apartment hunting in AZ after getting into PA school. ✈️ Not long after, an in-flight medical emergency on @SouthwestAir was announced and these 3 awesome humans jumped in to help. A retired CRNA, an OB nurse, a new AEMT, and me —a paramedic.

Gerry Glasco’s late daughter Geri Ann played for Texas HC Mike White while at Oregon. @GerryGlasco said he doesn’t know who she’d be rooting for now because “she loved Whitey” & compared them often. “Daddy, Coach is just like you, he’s just got a more colorful vocabulary.” 😂

Oh and don’t worry, I spent the next 30 minutes trying to deflect but she reeled me back in. #therapy

I spent the first 15 minutes of therapy today, talking about the #WCWS because my therapist missed yesterday’s games while she was coaching her daughter’s team to a tournament win! I love sports.

Everyone should try to get themselves on a guidelines committee at least once in their careers, because people usually only see the finished product, and they aren’t aware of the enormous amount of jockeying and uncertainty that go into almost all guidelines.
