A war is raging in Europe, and Trump has said basically we won’t defend them. So they have to think about their own defense without the US, all while the US began military action without consulting them and is now demanding they send their already stretched defenses to Iran. Their reaction makes sense. Any 6th grader understands this.

If Trump pulls the US out of NATO, Europe will quickly realise that they never needed the US in the first place. As we have said for years, the US was never going to defend Europe. It was and will always be an utter myth. They just want Europe to buy their useless military hardware and munitions and so they can seek to control Europe and prevent it's rotation to Russia and Eurasia. Europe has a choice, die defending its pointless relationship with the US or embrace Eurasia including Russia

More and more of our NATO frenemies are denying US basing and landing right to US aircraft involved in Trump's war against Iran including Spain, Italy and now France. Trump should respond by announcing during his Oval Office address tomorrow night that the US is leaving NATO effective immediately!

I think I understand why Europe and Nato are so upset with President Trump's handling of the IR operation. Trump turned war on its head by attacking the leadership while leaving the peope and common soldiers alone. Instead of mass slaughter of armies, he decapitated the regime and that offends the sensibilities of the European aristocracy. What if everyone started doing that?

It’s frankly embarrassing, and an indictment of those that lead us, that gas prices in Canada have spiked to over $2 per litre because of a conflict on the other side of the world. We have, right here in Canada, the fourth largest oil reserves on the planet. Pipelines should have been built 10 years ago. Refineries should have been built 10 years ago. We should have an energy policy that puts Canada, and Canadians, first. This is ridiculous.
