Capitalism produces excess food that ends up going to waste because no one is starving enough to eat expired donuts; this is a bad thing for some reason.

@traps0 @ReviewsPossum I dont have an exact number right now but you can go to most major cities and you will find people starving in 2022 there were over 20000 deaths reported due to starvation in amaeica alone (key word reported some die and are never determined)

Insurance companies are required to pay out claims, they can't keep more than 20% of all premiums, if they don't pay out enough claims then the rest is reimbursed to people who are insured. @albertomoss I understand, but AE's rich effects library in practice achieved for me batch procedural image manipulation, so of course if I were to use what you guys have built, my first reaction would be "can I do this thing, that I've done in AE?" My two cents

@albertomoss I understand that maybe some things are more important and useful than others, and the showcase is very intriguing and interesting As is! But my personal bottom line is, if I can't rebuild some rig from AE in other software, it's really hard for me to justify giving it a try

@albertomoss Alongside the things I Didn't see in the left side bar in that video, image masks, procedural manipulation of the canvas size (not just crop), tiling (not just repeating), fractal noise, and custom programmable nodes for per-pixel manipulation and rigging

@jkorenman Yeah, stuff like that is very good if you don't need to build some AE rig to render a lot of images in batches, but there are like 3 different instances of AI prompting for it to generate a style, which I don't see Any point in if you're advertising this tool to designers

At first glance, it looks like it'd be suuuuper useful for designers that work on ecommerce brands, social media stuff, product marketing... for motion, it'd take some messing around to see where it saves time, but even for style frames, being able to run any image through a "recipe" of nodes could be crazy useful. I used to use Nuke for that exact reason. Take 100 assets and run them through a node that "look-devs" them... that kind of stuff. Simpler than Photoshop macros and more reliable. I find that many tools like this really need artists to stress-test them to find the best use cases.
