@upbeat_dev True yes
Rating just came a lot from this transparency screen
I am also acting all my ads. So they often see me twice 😅
English

I worked on this app for almost a year
It all started from RevenueCat contest
I lost the contest
but
Tons of people sent me messages and engaged with the app
So I locked in and tried to make it better and better while also marketing it
I don't believe it's all about marketing
I believe its all about making something that push boundaries
Sometimes it works and sometimes not
But a product people love will always beat bad products with good marketing in the long term
Kubbo has now 2k reviews on stores
I'll keep sharing my journey here

English

@mcflyDev Yes, definitely, it forgets a lot of stuff. Good luck, I'm a Kubbo user too 👍

Assets are ai generated yes
But I sometimes draw some shapes for architecture and tweak them for proportions
It’s more ai pair programming than truly vibe coding (if we agree on that vibe coding is let ai code for you without watching the code)
There is a lot of small details that Claude always forgets.
English

@mcflyDev I did but, you are connecting with users by introducing yourself. I think this made the difference
English

@upbeat_dev Yes that is weird
Why don’t they directly show this when they have everything
Like Google ads

Quick lesson: You have to monitor ROAS at the keyword and search term level.
A practical example with actual numbers:
First image is a campaign's last 28-day metrics. ROAS looks meh.
Second image is the campaign's keyword breakdown. Do you see the problems?
We can make this campaign have really strong ROAS just by pausing some keywords. That's it.
Without monitoring revenue and ROAS at the keyword/search term level, you cannot be profitable with ASA.

English

@mcflyDev You mean roas and revenue? I have connected it with revenuecat api on a custom solution. Apple search ads ui does not show it.
English

@upbeat_dev The question is why is that not visible on the Apple search ads dashboard??
Or I'm missing something
English

@adel_ljaljic hard part is keeping the balance and keeping it going 😅
English

@Emmett_Deen @HonestCodelol It counts view-through installs. If your ads shown and user installs the app organically, it counts it as attribution. That's why I am always saying ignore Total metrics.
English

@HonestCodelol @upbeat_dev I think it counts toward this conversion when an ad shows for my app, the user does not click it, but then scrolls down and still selects my app and installs.
English

@mcflyDev Yes, it helps organic a lot. And profit is bonus in that case.
English

@upbeat_dev But this also depends on how much this have impacts on organic
English

@canonicalizedco You have keyword level ROAS, and you can see which search terms are triggered by those keywords.
So it won't be an exact value for search terms, but merging this data gives meaningful insights.
English

@upbeat_dev Heres mine
Im really liking the first campaign so far, paying 54ct per cpa.
The one below however, not so good. Not a lot of return on that, but ill see over time. Others are exact matches at great cpas.

English

@HonestCodelol @Emmett_Deen You can ignore it, it is Total metrics. they are useless.
English

@Emmett_Deen @upbeat_dev How the fuck do you have 192% conversion rate💀
English

@saifgeeky Yes, seeing different metrics and analyzing them helps us understand them better.👍
English

@upbeat_dev ASA metrics can feel like such a black box sometimes lol. Definitely curious to see what others are averaging right now
English

@upbeat_dev A 10.9% net ROI after taxes is solid, but the 45-day cash flow gap is tough for scaling. If you can handle floating the ad spend for a month and a half, keep it running.
English

@upbeat_dev Hey
How do you track these? Which tool?
