SHAMEFUL CONDUCT BY DELHI POLICE Last night (11 April), at around 10:00 PM, a serving Brigadier’s family encountered two individuals consuming alcohol inside their car (Regn No. DL3CCY 0789) near their residence in Vasant Enclave. Upon objecting to this act of illegal public drinking, the situation escalated. The individuals called for additional support, and soon 7–8 more men arrived in multiple vehicles. These men proceeded to assault the Brigadier’s son, causing significant injuries, and also manhandled the Brigadier himself. Despite a call to the Police Helpline (112) and a PCR vehicle (ZBR39A, Mobile No. 9311923339) being dispatched to the spot, no effective action was taken by the police personnel present. The assault occurred in full view of the PCR van, yet no intervention was made. Following the incident, the family approached Vasant Vihar Police Station to lodge an FIR. However, their complaint was not registered, and they were also denied immediate medical assistance. Eventually, the injured were taken to the Military Hospital for treatment. A written complaint has since been submitted, but the lack of timely police action—both at the scene and at the police station—raises serious concerns. This incident demands urgent attention and accountability. The Great Indian Education Scam exposed! Indian schools have become a billing machine. Schools today focus less on education and more on extortion! You need to pay “donations” just to get admitted to schools. School textbooks are charging 10,000+ per year. Uniforms, books, shoes can be bought from fixed shops because schools take commissions. The biggest irony is that these school make so much "profit" but are still classified in the non-profit category. We need an Education system which has: 1. Transparent fee structures 2. A maximum limit on fees 3. Affordable Books & Uniform 4. Freedom to buy books from any seller It is time for parents to raise questions! Remember this? In Bangalore Metro, I had to pay ₹30 extra just to carry the same bag, even though it already has one of the highest fares in the country. Grant of NFU: While I am not aware, as yet, (officially) as to what the stand the Govt is going to take in the Hon'ble Supreme Court on 15 Apr 26 but, seeing the beeline for becoming the next CDS, I found the name of the recently re-attired Eastern Army Cdr. I personally knew him since October 2004 from his days with 26 RR as 2IC when I conducted a Court Martial for Fratricide in his Battalion and yet, when the NFU judgement was pronounced by the AFT on 23 Dec 2016, he questioned me in the corridors of the South Block, where he was posted at that time as Dy MS, and very rudely asked me, "why are you spreading such canards in the organisation like NFU & all"? There is an Officer witness to this effect. And now, he is in line to become the CDS. There is another one, the then AG, who was probably shown the carrot of becoming the first Army Cdr of the non existent Army Cyber Command at that time and hence he was opposing the grant of NFU since the beginning. Incidentally, both of them are now settled in Gurjinder Vihar AWHO. Ladies & Gentleman, it was not only one "Monk who sold HIS Ferrari" but there are many "Monks who sold OUR Ferrari" & they continue to do so. It is such a tragedy that in India, a person who is falsely accused of a crime, cannot file a case against the person who falsely accused him under laws meant to punish false accusers once he is declared innocent It is only courts or police which can initiate proceedings under these laws and they rarely ever do Advocate @AshwiniUpadhyay has filed a PIL regarding this in Supreme Court and notice has been issued I really hope we see a fruitful outcome of this PIL. IT IS NEED OF THE HOUR
