Genuinely surprised to see Apex devs take this stance I wouldn't say that a game that went from 1-2 controller players to a wide majority of controller players (60-80%) in Diamond+ and competitive is fair for competitive play. If it truly was fair, why are people switching to controller? Why are MnK players quitting and why are controller players rising to the top? I'd love to see how they arrived at this conclusion. If you played during the Xbox 360 era of FPS, you might feel outclassed playing games like Marathon. You haven't gotten worse. Your reaction time hasn't slowed down enough to make a difference in online.
