Erdogan’s Turkey has occupied northern Cyprus since 1974, has threatened Greece with war for decades should it extend its territorial waters, and seeks to impose a new maritime order through its “Blue Homeland” doctrine at the expense of Greece, Cyprus, and regional stability.
In Syria, Ankara is the principal external patron of the Islamist terror regime in Damascus. At its head stands Ahmad al Sharaa, a former Al Qaeda operative sent to Syria by Abu Bakr al Baghdadi, the founder of ISIS, for those who may have forgotten.
This regime bears full responsibility for the mass killings and sectarian violence against Alawites and Druze, which many survivors and observers describe as ethnic cleansing, as well as for violent campaigns against the Kurds. Turkey provides it with political, military, and economic backing.
At the same time, Hamas headquarters operating freely from Turkish soil directing terror activity in Israel and Europe, recruiting operatives, transferring funds and weapons, and coordinating attacks under the protection of Erdogan’s regime.
It must be said plainly: Erdogan’s ingratitude is beyond comprehension.
In Turkey’s darkest hours, Israel was there. During the 1999 earthquake and again after the devastating earthquake of 2023, Israel sent rescue teams, doctors, field hospitals, equipment, and humanitarian aid. Israel saved Turkish lives beneath the rubble.
Erdogan chose to repay this by turning Turkey into a global stronghold of Islamist, Hamas aligned antisemitism.
The alliance with Greece and Cyprus, together with our deepening cooperation in energy, security, and defense industries, is a vital strategic pillar against the imperialist Islamist terror policy of the regime in Ankara.

If Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were asking for my advice, I would tell him to reject any American intervention in Lebanon outright and refuse to even discuss the issue. This is none of America’s business. The United States has every right to handle its own surrender agreement with Iran however it wants. Israel has nothing to do with it.

Turkey and Iran are both building proxy networks across the region, one Sunni, one Shia. Even though they compete with each other, they have found a common enemy in Israel.
In response, Israel’s deepening alliance with Greece and Cyprus is a brilliant and necessary strategic move. It creates a real counter-balance to Turkish aggression in the Eastern Mediterranean.
In the long term, building stronger ties with the Kurds would be another important step to check Erdogan’s regional ambitions.
This is smart, strategic, and brilliant statecraft by Israel.

A lot of people tell me I am angry. Yeah, I am angry. And honestly, most people should be angry too.
What happened on October 7 was not just a massacre. It was a level of barbarity and sadistic violence that you rarely see in any other culture or ideology. It was not simple shootings. The attackers took joy and pride in every gruesome act. Then came the images of tens of thousands of Gazans cheering and dancing in celebration. That kind of open delight in slaughter is commonplace there.
We have seen the same brutality for months in Syria, and we see it right now in Sudan, Nigeria, Chad, and across much of Northern Africa. Now it is spreading. We are watching these same extremes surface in Europe, Australia, and America.
For all the hatred exploding against Jews worldwide, you will never see a Jew beheading someone in the streets of London or Belfast. You will not see one setting a Holocaust survivor on fire in Colorado or shooting up people at a religious festival on an Australian beach. Yet these horrors keep happening in the other direction.
The world watches the lies falling apart about fake genocides, nonexistent famines, and “journalists” who turn out to be Hamas fighters. Still, leaders make deals with the perpetrators, threaten the only country fighting this evil, and act like Israel is the real problem. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of innocent Christians are massacred, beheaded, and burned alive across Africa, and almost no one says a word. The loudest silence often comes from those fake Christians and podcast influencers who are quick to condemn Jews for things we didn’t even do a thousand years ago, or for crimes the attackers themselves filmed and celebrated.
Every government bears some guilt here. This toxicity grows in societies everywhere, yet the condemnation keeps landing on us. So yes, I am angry. I am angry because we know how this ends.
The world did nothing while a third of the Jews were slaughtered eighty years ago. Now the same silence and intentional ignorance seem ready to allow it again. The actual evil spreads openly, while those of us who refuse to lie down and die get scorn for wanting to live.
I am angry, and I have every fucking right to be.
